Why is it sometimes being happy is the hardest thing to do?

I am trying my best to be optimistic in everything I do. But surrounded by many negatives and maintaining being HAPPY is one of the hardest thing to do while getting angry could never even break a sweat off of my head. Maintaining a smile sometimes is a pain that sometimes I wish I can just glue it together on my face. Do you people sometimes have this kind of experience?

hi, Sinfulrose.
Are you okay? You seem have hard problems on your days and don't enjoy your life. If you have problems share it to your trusted person to decrease your stress or try to things other sweet things.
I ever felt the same condition as you when I feel so down at my life. I becomes so bad at that time, I only feel angry at anything, everything seems as my enemy and I want to fight them. Then, I feel so tired for doing so and I decide to go away from this situation by opening my mind and heart to solve my problem and stand up. Life is beautiful, don't waste your time to feel bad.

I understand what you are trying to say. Life is an adventure but sometimes it can also be like a wheel. I am in my deepest and down situation where my nature, moral and what is right is at odds with each other. I already talked to the very person I can entrust my life with and her advice is for me to stick with the right path...so I guess I had to suffer for quite a while for a bit. lol

oh I see what's your point, but it's not good for long time,dear. You have to try solving your problem. You're great person that has certain quality which is needed outside there and it is so useless if those who needs you who have to face their life helpless.
Don't give up in this situation, I believe you're much stronger than now

Thanks for the encouragement! I guess I need to have a little more patience in life. But being young that is quite a task to achieve.

Hi !
We all human being are caught and surrounded by positive and negative thoughts.
It all depends upon us whether we want to remain tense or happy.
You need to feed your mind with the positive thoughts - you could tell yourself that - "I need to be happy, healthy and in joyous mood."
These kinds of thoughts will help you feel better.
Getting angry on any thingh, that too once in a while, is a all right and it be taken as a normal tendency.

You're right, feeling different emotions is normal for a human being time and again. Yes, we also are surrounded by either positive and negative thoughts. But struggling around them tend to be difficult if everything you only feel around you is the same every single day... ^^
