How to make your computer and internet speed faster

hello there! I know a lot of you have computer internet speed problems. my service provider promised a speed of 2mbps, but I have been getting .10-.50mbps only! last december my internet was very slow, I tried calling the service provider and troubleshooted with them but nothing happened. I know that my laptop's operating system is slow, I researched the internet on how to "clean" the system of my laptop, it was very very difficult to find instructions for a not so techy person like me! But I found one article that really helped me. Now i'd like to share what I learned from that article. Disk CleanUp If you are using a windows os laptop or computer this will work for you 1.click start 2.go and type in the search box = disk cleanup 3.the disk cleanup tool will now appear 4.it will ask select the drive you want to clean up 5.by default it is drive c, just click ok 6.now it's calculating how much memory will you save if you delete the trash, just wait and be patient while it is calculating 7.now check all the boxes in the new window except for recycle bin 8.click on cleanupsystem files 9.then it will ask you so select again just click ok, by now its calculating again 10.the window will appear again , just click ok 11. it will ask are you you want to permanently delete all these files click yes (i know this is scary-deleting, but this is just cleaning, like cleaning your house you need to get rid of the wastes, I've been doing this cleanup several times a day, so far my laptop is better after cleanup 12.then it's ok! If you have tried this, please let me know.
