Freedom of Android on an old Windows phone.

Omnia with Android - I am loving the freedom that comes with an Android ROM.
All the apps that I could use with my iPhone, I can find the Android version to use.
And it is so flexible in terms of tweaking the UI to something I like.

I am using a old windows phone which I flashed with Android to give it a new life. And I am loving the freedom that comes with an Android ROM. All the apps that I could use with my iPhone, I can find the Android version to use. And it is so flexible in terms of tweaking the UI to something I like. The only gripe I have with my current set up is the speed and the battery life. Can your phone be flashed with an android version? Did you try to flash your phone with android?

Iphone can't be used with Android right? haha :D I'm tired of apple products now especially when my phone is old. I have no complains about apple except for its battery life, and i wonder it's because of my usage or what. I have to charge it at least twice a day even when i'm not running any applications in the background. Is it the software that's eating my battery life? Does android phones have the same problem?

same problem lah. you can change the battery for under SGD$50 and some effort with help from online tutorial. That will solve the short battery life issue.

Android is one of the coolest inventions of late. It trumps Iphone by zillion, thanks for its open source feature. The interface is so much more innovative than anything else.
