I think of myself as a relatively smart person when it comes to things related to education and stuff. The problem is that i am not very "street smart".What advice do you have when it comes to things like identifying aggressive body language, situational awareness, identifying shady people, etc..This kind of information might come in handy one day.

This is not something that you can learn by reading a book or something but it comes off experience.
I'm not street smart too, that's because I don't get out of my home too much. If I did, I'd be that I know.
So, get out of your home, spend some more time with friends, and you should be there in no time.

Yes boyuancy rightly said that it is something that comes off with experience.
Yes i don't get out of home too much i guess i am homesick.
I will try to get out of home start hanging out much spend some time with friends and stuff give myself a break.
May be that way i will learn some street smart by interacting and seeing other people.

Hello, ankit_620. One important thing to remember is that if you find yourself in any area where you may be alone, keep your cell phone on you. If you see "shady" people around you, be on the phone with someone. Always keep your head up and look confidant. Attackers go after those who seem weak. Don't walk around like you have an attitude though, it will look to them like cockyness. Attackers will try to "outdo you" and want to knock that chip off of your shoulder. Always look people in the eye. Hope this helps. :)
