hi friends.one of those news channel yesterday released the story that 9 indian team member went to the go-kart in perth and were busy racing. thats not the shocking news though. the indian had a week to practise at perth but they didnt hit the net for 3 days including the go-karting day. now most people feel that india after such back to back loses should be practising more but a team member allegedly said that they want to leave it behind and get it off their mind and so went karting. i personally feel that atleast for the sake of media indians should have avoided going there because if they failed in perth, the newspaper titles might read " Indians should choose racing instead of cricket as their profession "

I saw this story on the news. It showed one of the Indian team members giving the finger at our media just before boarding the bus to go karting. Whether intentional or just more media trickery - who knows? One of our players stuck up for their decision though & told our media to leave 'em be. Karting is a good team building exercise & maybe they thought they needed that more than another individual practice session in the nets. All the best to them in the coming game.

i believe it was ishant Sharma who showed the finger at the media.somebody should have warned him to stay away from Kohli.it seems contagious.

Dhoni said that they should stop thinking about the two test losses and have to look forward for the third test. I don't know why you have to forget about the humiliation the team had by losing the first two tests. You have to remember the last two failures and practice hard and make sure you win the third. I am not seeing that kind of fire in our team these days. Chalte hain attitude is what the Indian team has these days. They are just not thinking about the losses and are telling that it will take away the morale of the team. But in my opinion they shouldn't stop thinking about the loss, they have to keep thinking about it and the humiliation the team had so far in Australia. Its better if the young cricketers like Ishanth and Kohli show their aggression in the match rather than on the spectators and the media. The funniest part is people who failed miserably in the series so far are the ones who are acting wierdly with media and all.

I'm still trying to figure out why there is so much pressure on Team India from the Indian people. I heard a commentator explain that it was because India doesn't have any other big sport to fall back on, so if the team loses, it's a really big deal to the Indian people. Down here, we've never cared if the team wins or loses because we've got so many other sports to compensate for any loss. We support the teams (ours, yours & others) as good as we can, we might bet heaps of money, we usually always applaud a good performance no matter which side it comes from & at the end of the day, it was either a good game & worth our while watching & supporting, or it was a lousy game & we'll think twice before putting in so much effort next time around. Just now, I've also learned that it's really difficult to get a place in the side, maybe harder than in other countries due to funding or corruption perhaps? So maybe that's a factor as well?

Well they get a lot of money compared to the cricketers of other country. Besides there are sponsors. So the main thing is they earn a lot of money and they think they have to utilize it fully. Thats why sometime we came to know they had gone shopping or karting. And there is Mr. captain cool who every time says that there is no need to be concerned about the performance. One or two series may go wrong etc etc. I think main reason for skipping practice is they have already knew that they will lose again even if they practice. So their is no need to waste time in practicing.

There is nothing wrong in relaxing in long tours but you need not skip an entire practice session to relax and enjoy especially when you are not performing at all. No one would have blamed if the Indians had gone for go karting after having a practice session, that would have even looked good but they skipped an entire practice session to do it and this I don't think is a very good move. They should spend most of the time in practicing because the curator himself said that its a bouncy and a fast track and we all know our capabilities on a bouncy track. So we have to practice whenever we get a chance but not skip the available practice sessions. If we win/draw this test then its ok otherwise this go karting session would become a big issue. I have never seen any team visiting India skip their practice session and go for sight seeing or anything, This happens only with Indians where they focus more on other things than playing whenever they go to a foreign country

Its actually an awful thing that the players are much more interested in having fun than concentrating on practice. I think the coach should take care of those players. That is the only reason making india fail to the lower place in the test ranking!

This is so called "team India" hahaha They will not stop enjoying even they are on a losing track. Thier on the way of having a whitewash but they don't mind enjoying. I remember the case of pup in the west indies where all go to enjoy. I think Indian need to do more pectise on the ground and offcourse take time to relax but what they have to do they just keep igonring things as they know how much they will practise they are going to lose the matches. They think that lossing here will no matter and we all go to India and then all thing sbecame favourable and then we again start winning. Karting or racing is not bad as it helpe them gain stamina and more in while making quick runs but it is test mtaches not oneday where you neet quick runs, they way time to go. They should need to practice more and more as the bouncing track will not let them score more. If they practice then there will be more chance of them getting rusn but who cares........

Thats really true.... Our news papers higlight unrelated things also if they lost. If they win then they will forget each and everything and they make the players as heros..
