You have to start saving, before you budget your money put some on your saving before and the rest you budget for your expenses. On that way you will save for your future. When you shop buy only something needed, make a list of your needs so you will not just buy wha you see.

I guess one way to find out is to make some simple account on what you earn and what you spend. It doesn't have to be a formal expenditure form or something, a simple one would do. Just list down each item you paid for say in a month's time, including bills, and you'll have a rough picture on where your money goes. That's the simple part. The not-so-simple part is cutting down the money spent on those items :)

If you want to save, you have to take control your spending. Otherwise, without financial discipline it is hard to save. Avoid going to shopping mall as much as possible or stores where clothes are sold.

We need to control our finances very carefully. It is pretty hard for working class earner to save any money after paying off all the bills. Nowadays most of the youngsters are getting 2 or 3 jobs at the same times in order to meet their monthly expenses. We have to take good care of our health as medical bills are the biggest killer.
