A true story about the famous dog Hachiko (from Japan) who waited for his dead master for over 9 years at the train station. I saw the American version though, and it was so touching. It's a story about loyalty and friendship which knows no bounds...I really have a soft spot for animals..This was the second time I cried so hard...

I have watched this movie already. This movie was introduced by my close friend in college. At first I was hesitant to watch but when I got the chance to watch it, I can tell how Hachiko waited and loved her master so much. I was deeply touched because of this movie. I highly recommend this to everyone.

LOL, i cried way before the movie even started. Haha, just watching the disc cover made me cry, because i know it will be a really touching movie. Hachiko is so cute, I want to keep him. Amazing how dogs can be so loyal, humans ought to learn from them.

Yeah, I already know what would happen even before the movie since I have heard of this dog and even saw his statue from the Japanese movies i have seen. But still when it came to those scenes i couldn't hold my tears.. I agree, people should learn from their loyalty.

I had a dog so I really can relate to the movie. This movie makes me cry too. You are right, the loyalty and friendship Hachiko has to his master is so great and touching. Although my dog isn't trained like that but I still love him. How much more if I have a dog like Hachiko. It is really sad to see him waiting everyday even in cold, rains, and heat.
