Me and my sister, from my 1st step mom went to the state after a failed marriage to my father when I was about 18 years since then we haven't seen each other, for more or less 8 years and last year was the only chance that we got to talk through skype and chat in facebook since my Grandmother died and my stepmom had to come home. And I spent some time with her. Well I am just thankful to skype for helping to bridge me and my sister together after all those years. Thank's Facebook your NO. 1...

That's great to hear! These social network sites like Facebook could really be useful in bringing together family and friends. I remember seeing in the local news of how a post in Facebook had help find a missing old man and reunite him with his wife. Let's just hope that these sites would continue to be used for the better and not for bad activities.

Wow, it is really a long time that you haven't get a chance to communicate with your sister. Social networking sites is really beneficial for people who are away from their loved ones. I'm also thankful for Facebook, Yahoo messenger and skype because these are only the ways for me to communicate with my parents, brothers and friends. Thank God we have this technology.
