Would you give your referral link to someone for him to look referrals for you?

I am getting confused if I'll give it or not. This sounds funny, but I still want to hear your views regarding this. I want to earn more, and I can only achieve this if I'll be more active in online jobs. Working on myLot alone will not give me enough earnings.
One of my online friends suggested that I can be his referral. Of course, I also need to be active in the site to earn. He told me that he's capable of earning $1 or more everyday. One of them is through PTC sites. He added that it would be best if I can find referrals. I told him it's not easy to look for referrals, and if I do, the next problem would be if my referrals will be active or not. If not, I'll just waste my time. He guaranteed that if I can give him my referral link, he can look for referrals, my referrals. This sounds great, but I never join the site yet. I cannot also give him my referral link just in case I'll join the site and be one of his referrals. I'm not comfortable doing it.

What I do is to exchange links with friends. I am active at one of his sites and he must be active at one of mine. It´s one for one. But I don´t see how one would tell another person to look for referrals for him. People want something for them, not to be generous without getting nothing. I do earn about $100 a month working and having some referrals as I said. But that is hard work.

Yes. He will also benefit from this. He has already explained the whole stuff to me. Actually, he's not forcing me to be his referral and give him my referral link. It's only an offer. I can take or leave it.

I have done this kind of give and take relation in many fields throughout my life.wittynet. It´s like a barter system. Even if it means work, you get results. I travel every years thanks to my online earnings.

What I really want is to create my own website, but I know I'll fail because I lack so many skills needed.
This is also new to me. He never insisted. He offered it just in case I would like to give it a try. Yes. It's confusing.
