I saw happy people

I once saw on Oprah an episode where she interviews people who have won million dollar prizes. On that particular show, there was 2 couples and 1 lady.
The thing that was common on these people is they are as happy as can be. The smiles on their faces just cannot seem to fade. They were laughing as they speak to Oprah.
I know that money is not the way to happiness but that is how I feel right now. I am bracing myself to lifes disappointments but now I feel happy.
How do you feel when you get a legit money pot? Of course you will feel happy but can you believe your luck?

I know some people who are in the same situation. At first they are happy for the given luck! But for long some problem arises and they don't even know how to manage their money!
If i will be rewarded with a big amount of money I will be happy but come to think that my life will be in danger or encounter some other negative aspects. It is better to live in simple ways!

wow, 1 million dollar! If i were those people, i would be very happy that's for sure. Because i can buy anything that i want. But, unfortunately i haven't won anything cash prizes. It ok to be happy if you have tons of money. There are a lot of things that can make man happy, and having a lot of money is one them. But, for me, money is not enough to make you happy. Family, friends, my husband, my son, they give me joy and happiness. The wonderful nature, nice people, work of art, music, also makes me happy. Also mylot makes me happy. LOL. There are a lot of things in life to enjoy. simple things.

Money is closely related to being happy. Without money how can you be happy? But it doesn't mean that money is everything. There are some people who live happily with little money. If you live in the city where money is the key to get what you want. I experienced being penniless for a few days. My friends noticed this because there is a change in my look. I looked gloomy and disappointed.

One Million Dollar Prize!!! something that will keep me away from many many issues and will ensure some happiness for sure. But I have never been lucky to even get a chance to contest for such legit-money-pots forget the winning
So I think it is not me or my luck... But yes, in case I do ever win such amounts the legit way, I will like to thank the Lord, My Stars, My Parents... (OMG, already a Thanking Speech starts getting ready here

Hi there momof3kids!!!
Well if I have a big a amount of money I'll sure be happy becoz it will solve some of my problems in my life.But then again I don't want myself to depend my happiness in money becoz money is just temporary and I can never see real happiness by just having more money.There are many things in m life that is more important that it.

yes, happiness can flow internally and externally. winning prizes are obviously external stimulation of happiness. but it also provides security and stability which can develop internal happiness. i like your observation, and how you see a relevant question in what you observe.

I haven't won the lottery personally, but I know someone who has. And while I was happy for them, I knew it wouldn't last long. They probably blew the money or something. I consider our need for money like our hunger for food; it can be fulfilled for a little bit, but in the end, you always need more. Those smiles will fade eventually, unless they do something truly good with that money, like save it.
