Its truly amazing how God has created certain foods that resemble our body parts!! Thats not only whats amazing, they also effect that body part!! Chinese figured it out 5000 years ago.. that a SLICED CARROT look like a Human Eye.. try it at ur home! Carrots greatly enhance blood flow and function of the eyes Also the most fascinating one is TOMATO - it has four chambers which are red.. And its similar to our HEART !! 4 chambers!! So do you know of any other vegetables and fruits that are like our body parts? please share the valuable information with our family of mylotters!

Hello Bamboee... Ohh this is a good news because I like carrot :). And I have heard that the fruit that have a heart shape is good for women. It is good for ovary, for example is apple. And walnut is like a brain, and it is good for brain. Walnut can add more than three dozen neuro-transmitter to brain. :)

so carrots where there already 5000 years ago? How about a walnut? I doubt if the way food looks correspondents with the human body part sincee there are also many kind of food who are healthy for 1 body part and don't look similar. Still it's nice to know and a good way to remember, unless you have allergies. BTW tomatoes are good against sunburn!

wow interesting Kitty! I didnt know tomato's were good against sun burn, well they also said they are good for the blood too :) i will start having more tomato's, its really hot here in Dubai, 50 Degrees!! Walnuts definitely looks like the Brain. The left and right hemisphere wrinkles like the neo-cortex, which develops around 3 dozen neuron transmitters for the brain!! Walnut is like a little tiny brain.. And you know what it does? it helps to grow the nervous system. The nutrients of the walnut are absorbed by the brain! Isnt it wonderful? There are so much moreeeeeeeee!!!

This idea that carrots improved vision was something pushed hard by the government during world war 2. They nicknamed a pilot Cats Eyes Cunningham and claim that he had tested a new carrot based diet which had improved his night vision to such extent that he could see enemy planes in the dark and they were extending the treatment to other pilots. There was no truth in the whole story and it was only pushed because what was happening was that we had developed on board radar for our night fighters and we did not want the enemy to guess this

Ya but medically yes, Carrots are rich in beta - carotene which the body converts to vitamin A. A crucial nutrient for maintaining proper eye sight :) and if you dont have vitamin A, then that can cause you night blindness. Many fruits and vegetables have beta - carotene, but carrots are highly rich in it. Hope it helps you. So yes, carrots are healthy for eye sight! I dont know about the government and such, but I do trust the science and so should you. Cheers, thanks for your response.

Hi Bamboee, you start a very interesting topic here! As far as I know, according to Chinese food culture, the color of food related tightly with organs. For example red is to heart, black is to kindney, yellow is to stomach, green is to liver and white is to lung. But here the names of the organs are not exactly the same meaning with they are in anatomy, they refer to a certain system of the body in our Chinese medical. It is magic, is it?
