I, in my "career" as Mylotter, I have done a few tasks. I have always been validated, but because I chose the simple ones with a reward of 3 cents Caduna. Has happened only 1 time a task I have not been validated, but I did not lose any point of reputation, nor any possibility of gain. So I just believe that you could feel comfortable.

Like I said Mylot, I shortly used the task. My favorite source of income on this site is to write discussions on topics as desired, or written by others Mylotters comment threads.

Tasks and discussions are two different way of earning on mylot. Both task and the discussion have no relation with each other. If you do task whether or not it reject or accept it will not effect on the discussion reputation. The stars we have on our discussion is due to rating of mylotter to our discussions and there is no such things in task perfomance. When you perform task, if it get rejected then nothing going to made bad so that you can't accept other tasks. There are few task which need to do carefully most of them are writing task. Article writing and rewriting are the task where some task creator ask to have no past rejection. These are only task that need good reputation in doing the task so take care in doing them. Other task have nothing to relate with past task performace. Discussion already siad are diffrent and so do the task. I hope it would have helped you.

I think if you get rejected for too many tasks, you won't be able to complete anymore.

i think not, because in this task it just another extra earning that you will get from another member. the main reputation is when you post any bad content at mylot. happy mylot.

Mylot FAQ's not mention about this, I think your reputation affected by rejected tasks. As long as I concern, your reputation only affected when you involved in discussion section (related to DRS). Read this link for confirmation: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq17.aspx Happy lotters

I don't really know..I've only been rejected twice; once was when I misread what we were supposed to do and the other was getting a word count too low on a rewrite. I've been very careful since, and can say I've completed 127 tasks worth .02 to 3.50 with only those 2 rejected. I've made great money - enough that it looks like I can make a minimum 25.00 cash out each month, which is what I set for my cash out. This month I got 26.66 and I am already up to 12.19 with 10 tasks "pending" - once they are paid I will have about fifteen dollars - not bad for halfway through the month. Stick with what you can do correctly on the tasks. Once you've done several correctly for someone, you might message him or her and ask if something is not done right if they could just return rather than reject it to give you another chance. But only once you've proven yourself.
