How often do we hear that on the news after teens have done something dramatic and horrible?
Look at these children that are not given time to be bored and play a prank.
I pray God gives them extra love for what they have to do so young of age.
There are 26 pictures that show these children and will give new meaning to what being a child in other countries means.

Those pictures were heartbreaking. Those poor children don't have a childhood, the one boy was already the breadwinner for his family. The children in America don't realize how good they have it. Parents here won't let their child ride a bike without a helmet. There is no way we would make a child weld without gloves on.

Sorry for the double posts. I didn't think the first one went through and couldn't remember everything I had said in it and tried to redo it.

Those pictures were heartbreaking. Here in America, parents won't let their child ride a bike without a helmet but children in other countries don't get to be children. They start them working at such a young age and the one boy was already the breadwinner. Some of the jobs were dangerous too! The one boy had goggles on, but was sticking his hand in with NO gloves on. There is no way we would ever let a child weld let alone with his bare hands. Children in this country don't realize how lucky they are.

Your thoughts were exactly how I thought too.
I always hear the children that weave the cloth or carpets will not be easy for them to do. Their backs when they get older will be bowed over. Its sad to know that a child is not allowed to be a child.

I think that it is really sad to see that children in other parts of the world never do have the opportunity to really enjoy a childhood. I mean my best friend and her siblings didn't have the opportunity to have a normal childhood, but they at least did have some opportunity to be children, although their mother really didn't care about where they were at any given time.
That said, they didn't have to pay their way through life when they were that young.

Hi marie: I am not a father yet but I join your prays because I'm really aware to what's happening in the world and I understand that these days, things are more complicated. Some kids receive the wrong advices and don't hear their parents, values have been lost also in our societies so I think it's more difficult to raise a child in values.

Did you view the pics of those poor children that never has a childhood?
It is genuinely sad to know children 4 years old and up cannot be just a child.

the pictures were really heartbreaking.. that is i always reiterated to my children of how lucky they are for having a family and being provided for with their daily needs. child labor in different countries are prevalent due to poverty, and i hope the every government in these countries would give importance to the status of children in general.

Yes, I do know where are my children. They are still young and are just happy to be at school. I make sure that I am always at their side in each step they make. And though I know they would do something silly, I let them know my presence and that I would always be there to listen and to hug them. I am praying too for other children who are in bad situations and of course for their parents that they would be guided to have a new and beautiful life.

Hi, Marie, you raise a serious topic. When my daughter was a little kid she often didn't want to eat her food and I used to tell her: Do you know that so many children in Africa are starving? I was angry and serious but she was laughing.
Our children will not experience such horrible things, thanks God. This is all I can say here. Because I know that we can do nothing to change the plight of those poor kids. And I feel helpless.

I've seen the photos, those kids are so young to be workers. I think that's life, it's reality, it's been happening all over the world. They work at very young age to earn money so that they'll have food to eat. I feel so very lucky because i still can buy things and eat food. We have to appreciate every little things we have because in some places they lack these things. I hope that they would do something to prevent child labor. I really hope.
