My family, my friends, my husband thinks that I hate water! Just because I dont drink it for days, they think I am ungrateful and I am not taking care of myself. I dont understand but I dont feel thirsty, its true that sometimes it passes more than 3 days that I have drank water but that does not mean I hate it.. I just dont feel thirsty!! Is there something wrong with me?

Yes I think there is definitely something wrong with you. What have you been drinking aside from water? Cola? Juice? Eating lots of fruits? It's not normal not to drink water for more than 3 days. Our body needs water, so you should listen to them, Bamboee.

I have a problem in digestion. So I need to really drink more water. For me the problem is that if I drink less water in a day - It would mean it will be hard for me to poop! I don't know if you are regularly pooping, do you or do you not poop? Yes, you should force yourself to drink. Drinking plenty of water is an important part of daily life and toxic cleansing.

So what do you drink instead of water? Water is very important to our body. It washes away all the toxins inside our body. If you don't drink water, your metabolism will suffer. So, how's your metabolism if you don't drink water for 3 days?

@Simplyd, well once in a while I end up having a glass of milk.. but not everyday.. I think my metabolism is not good at all, it does not digest food fast and I have lots of cramps! and lots of tummy ache's , almost everyday :( i know its because of water yet I dont learn the lesson. @smurfy your right I should take water. Doctor has told me several times because I have lots of pain in my tummy, and I cant bare it at times. But i dont listen, i dont know whats wrong.. I just cant drink it or dont want to drink it. Its weird feeling when I drink it.. i dont know, is it water phobia? no no .. I think after reading all the comments and so many people telling me so much valuable information, I think really should push myself to drink water.. because I dont take in any other liquid.. Thanks both of you for being so concern.. I really should get my problem fixed! God Bless u.

I am really happy that you are listening to most suggestions that people advices you. I do think it is the best thing to do. And as what you said, the doctor already told you about it...and you are experiencing symptoms...so in order to keep you away from those expensive hospitalization and sickness, then better take some prevention and that is water. Drinking water is just so easy...and I know in a matter of time, you will surely get used to it and even drink more than the required. ^^ God bless as well.

Yes, I agree with you on that Simply D. I am wondering what's her metabolism when there's no water who will help those food to digest. Water is indeed very important most especially with our kidneys...and our kidneys is really very important to us. If it will shut down, we will shut down as well. We should definitely take care of this important organ....and should definitely drink water...or even any drinks as an alternative except liquors.

Water is important. Try drinking even if you are not thirsty. At least 1.5lt every day. Your kidneys will be the first to shout out! At some point

Thank you so much. I wish I had super power!! LoL then I would definitely utilize it for something greater. hahaha, i hope the water is always there.. I cant survive alone in this world !! lol Well yes, i have started to drink water. I even went and bought some vitamin tablets, so that even encourages me more to drink water! Thanks alot for being so considerate.

If you really don't feel anything. Then maybe you something like super power. LOL. Maybe after all the water in the world is gone, you'll be able to survive. LOL. But, seriously speaking, still try to drink my friend ok. Feeling tired super fast is a sign that might says you lack some sodium and potassium in your body.

i think u're mysterious, 'cos i have never see someone not to drink water for three days, it is very good to take water every day; even three to five times. i don't know may be u drink something else like soft drink and other, 'cos i don't think someone can live without water for two three days when u're not fighting water.

Well I honestly dont drink it, and its pretty normal for me.. I dont even realize it until my husband brings it up and I remember the last time I had it.. its like become a part of me not having it.. for days! ofcourse not more than 3days because my husband makes me drink it when he finds out its been several hours that I have gone without it. I dont drink any other liquid.. I have normal food at normal time, breakfast, lunch and dinner.. but water somehow does not come in my books. I will go to a doctor and get a checkup!

Hi Bamboee, And I know the doctor will remind you again about drinking water..and even tell you to drink more than the recommended amount of water. Well, you have been a good listener..and you are making ways to drink water as what you said in your post...so maybe in time, you will get used to it. ^^

Water is really very important to us. We need it in order to flush out the toxins in our kidneys and to clean it up. I do suggest that you should definitely drink water at least 6-8 glasses a day. It will actually help you out...not just with your kidneys but with your skin as well..and in terms of hydrating your body. Water is indeed relevant. And in my case, I need to make sure that I always drink water at least more than the required amount not because I have kidney problems but because I need to hydrate myself and have a good skin. I am not sure if there is something wrong with you. But I suggest that you listen to your family. ^^ Have a wonderful day!

Thank you again smurf your so kind and considerate. I give my husband water 7 times a day, at different periods during the day.. but when I fill the glass for him, I just dont even feel like taking sip or having a glass myself.. I think I will make a habit that when he drinks I drink at the same time too !! I worry about my husband and give him water because its very hot in my place, it goes up to 50degrees, so he works and i get worried. But my own self its just become part of me not drinking water on daily basis. Now that you have been so nice and written to me such valuable information. i will definitely try drinking water, little by little daily.. and hopefully I can make it a regular habit and not skip it.. thank you so much my friend, God bless you. Cheers

That's really good to hear. And I highly appreciate that you are following (most) people's advices. And yeah, I do think it will definitely help you a lot. Drinking less water will definitely make you at risk of having kidney stones..and that is really worrisome. So, instead of risking yourself...then why not preventing it from happening...^^ Glad that you will change...though little by little. Happy Mylotting!

Your body needs water. Your brain needs water. I cannot imagine myself going on and on for three days without drinking water! Probably, you have an abundance of other fluid intakes. These intakes should have kept you dehydrated. If this is not the case, please pardon my verdict, I would agree with your loved ones. Just like the world made up of 75% water, our body has the same composition.

Dear I just dont feel thirsty and I dont drink any other fluids in the house. I do eat food, lunch and sometimes dinner but I dont feel thirsty. I dont drink water and feel like drinking it. When my husband really gets mad at me and forces me to drink infront of him, I feel like I am going to vomit or something. Its not the taste that upsets me, water is tasteless, its just that I feel full when I have even one sip! :(, what can I do to get myself to drink it... Well your so kind to give me such valuable information, it is truly important for us.. we need to keep our organs floating in the water, that is what I heart from my mom! Thanks dear, i am trying to figure out someway where I am motivated to drink it!

Well thats the issue.. I am really a crazy food lover..even drinks.. But I dont agree with artificial liquids like pepsi and fruit juices .. Natural is good and amazing and I love drinking natural fruit juices.. but i dont know whats up with water because the moment I drink it, I just cant swallow.. so even if i drink after 1-2 days I drink just ONE SIP! not more than that, I cant take it anymore! :( my husband really shouts at me..dat is the only reason I drink!

Yes, I give my husband water every morning, then when he comes from office I give him a glass of water, then when he leaves again for work I give him. when he come back home at night I give him water, then when he about to go to bed I give him water.. But when I dont do it for myself.. :( I think I will start making it a routine, just like I have made it for him!
