Gorilla glass in Nokia N9??

Does the nokia n9 comes with a gorilla glass?By the way what is a gorilla glass.Been hearing this thing for quite a long time now.Can Somebody tell me how this thing differs from ordinary screen of cellphones.And another thing I want to know is if this thing is scratch resistant or not. I am actually planning to buy a nokia n9 so am asking a lot of things about it.I hope someone can give me any idea on what this gorilla glass means.My idea of it is that it is scratch resistant..but I don't know if it is right.Help please!!!

Yes, the Nokia N9 uses Gorilla glass. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_N9 This is a special type of glass developed by Corning which has a very hard, scratch-resistant surface. You can read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorilla_glass

Hi there owlwings!!! Thanks for responding really appreciate it.The link is very informative I guess this phone is also good in some way and wouldn't worry about the screen having many scratches.I just hope that this phone will be very reliable like my old nokia phone.

i think the n9 is a good catch. Gorilla glass i think it is scratch proof and anti glare glass. Having a screen like that is superb. I really like n9!
