If you have the desire to run your own business but just don't know what to start... Let say you given 50k for your business, how do you deal with that amount?

It would depend on what you're trying to start on. Right now, computers are trending, and I would recommend buying textbooks first, if you haven't started on computer programming. Getting a business partner would be good - you can see it in many of the successful companies today. Microsoft was founded by two people, Apple was founded by Steve Jobs and Wozniak (or whatever his name is), and even Facebook was founded by a duo - Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin. In Facebook's case, Ed Saverin partially funded the project. I saw this in The Social Network (even though part of it might not be true, or maybe exaggerated). So, if I was to start a business, then you would be the Ed Saverin of it.
