I have recently joined Helium and have posted a few articles that have the payment options of "RS" how does one earn money off these articles?

Standard revenue share on Helium is calculated as a payment per 1,000 views of your article(s). The exact amount they pay per 1,000 views depends on how much money they make but generally speaking you'll earn pennies per article unless they're very popular.

ok thank you. So does that mean I should be trying to write for the articles that have $ values under the payment options if I want to make more for my articles?

Assuming you mean the marketplace thing, yes. Those are extra payments on top of rev share, I believe. Double-check that, though: I haven't written on Helium in a long time, so it might have changed.

Congrats on the payout (I have been working on other sites since this post was made, sorry for the long delay in response). I have since left Helium and have been trying my hand at a few other sites recently. So far all the other sites that I have tried have been paying better than Helium's rates and there are only so many hours in the day and topics I can think of to write in so something had to give. Have you tried any other sites since leaving helium?

Hello, Runi. I just found this, so I'm late to the party, but I hope I can help. If you still have your account with Helium, and you have maintained at least one rating star, you will still be earning there. I'm a Channel Manager, editor and title seeder on Helium, so if you want to try again, go to my profile page and message me there, and I will try to help you earn more. I have around 1750 articles on Helium, and I pull in around $60 a month on revenue share alone, so it's worth trying to get it right.

Dear Runi My take to your question is that we should be prepared to earn pennies. Because working on the net is not an easy thing. I believe that working with fast foods outlets may be more rewarding. But if you are a mother with many children than writing articles may be your gateway to earning small change. You may want to register with 'Writers' Den' com. They will give you tips and ideas on how to earn good money in rendering your writing skills. That's my take for now! OK? Thanks! Love: Bro. Joe GBU

Dear Runi Speaking though my own experience, I am not in favor of this site as I have tried very hard and have given up hope on them. Maybe you can add more info. so that i may try with them again. Thanks. Bro. Joe. GBU

Hey Joseph, I have also given up on this site. There were too many questions and not enough answers. Even just their editors wanting specific topics to be written about didn't sit right with me. I have since been looking into other sites (thus I have not been on mylot in a while, so I'm sorry for the delayed response). But mainly what I have found is that there are other sites that are easier to understand and have better payout rates.
