Hello sabado_dc, I think it is the religious belief. It is the Spaniards to influenced or brought Christianity to our country. Although the Spaniard time in our country is not really good, I believe that we have also learned so many things from them. Plus, those Filipinos who have Spaniard blood (half Filipino half Spanish) are really pretty and handsome. And we may also account the Spaniards for it.
