I'm currently having a problem with my other half...we have an 8 years age difference and its hard to cope up with him. he a student in my work and as you know I'm a teacher in that field... we often argue but in the end it still end up in the student and teacher relationship that doesn't progresses in the moment. his friends is one issue they kind a like to think that the relationship we have its nothing more than just that. i wish he could just change his mind and end it all. i need help...

are you married? because if not, i find the situation risky for you being a teacher having an affair with a student. If you see that the relationship is worth the fight, then don't give up. He might be feeling the pressure especially if he is still young and his friends are of same age as his. If it is only the teacher-student issue, it will be resolved soon because he will not be a student for the rest of his life. Just assure each with your love. And when you argue, don't speak when the other is speaking. Try to be calm when he is not. His friends should not be a problem. They will grow up too. They may not understand it fully at first but after they see that the two of you are serious about the relationship they'll gonna support you. That's what friends are.

i think age difference in relationship matters a lot.and in your your case there is big difference between you and your loved one.i suggest you to break your relationship or take a time time to think is this right or not? i know love is blind but when there is gap of 8 years .then there is gap between understanding level, maturity level, thinking level of your and your partner. you should maintain teacher and student relationship and try to find out a guy of your level.
