How did or do you deal with mommy brain while your pregnant? How I deal with it is I write things down so I know to do them or go get something or little notes about people or things. I have had bad mommy brains while pregnant with my daughter or with the new baby yet. So what about you?

ShyBear88 ...I have never heard of mommy brain either. I assume forgetfulness could be caused by the hormones..so many things can happen during pregnancy caused by hormones...taking notes is a good idea... I become forgetful when I have a lot of things going on and many things to do..I makes notes then.. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and easy delivery

ShyBear88 ..do you think it's related to hormones or just being tired with a lot on your mind?? I could relate to tired Those first few months are exhausting..and since you will have 2 fairly close together, it may be hard to get enough rest..but I wish you well and hope the excitment and joy can carry you through

It was 11 month since my daughter was born to the start of my second pregnancy. Not it doesn't have to do with the hormones it doesn't affect how the brain works. Tired of time and lack of sleep does have an affect on the brain .

It's when your pregnant or after you have kids where forget things that you normally would forget.

I really didn't deal with any kind of mommy brain when I was pregnant with either of the children. What I mostly dealt with when I was pregnant with them was the fact that I had a hard time holding on to things. However, I've found that as the kids have gotten older, mommy brain is something that I have to deal with and for that reason I have to write notes to myself and I have to keep a pocket calendar that I keep updated with appointments and such that I have to attend.

It's been 10 years since I was pregnant but I dealt with it pretty much the same way. I wrote things down or like say hubby wanted something mended or ironed then I would leave it in plain sight to remind me. Or I would put sticky notes in places where I would be sure to see them. Making sure you get enough rest helps some because if your already tired it will make mommy brain worse. Congratulations on your baby! :)
