many critics come to Madrid for selling the brutality player like pepe..
he is not once time make brutality for his opponent..
the worst tackling had ever done when his team play against Mallorca or what (i forgot)..he play like buffalo and never use brain..
why in the football industry, there are still brainless player like Pepe??
he must be removed from football..
he should not play in the name of football..i do hope his career is not longer..he is dangerous for making a beautiful football...
and why there are outstanding manager like Mourinho still play him?? maybe the brain of Mourinho when play against Barcelona only play Kungfu and Martial Art??

There are always such players around and we can't possibly remove every of them. Roy keane was one of such players, along with Eric cantona. They can be ruthless but it's all in the name of passion for the game. Sometimes, too much passion resulted in them not thinking right, causing serious injuries to fellow players. It's the same like racism, it's causing mental stress that can be more serious than physical injuries.

I think the Spanish press has really lambasted Pepe on his act. I think it was really a foolish act. Hopefully the Spanish Federation would take serious action against him. This should act as a deterrent against other people doing similar acts.
Cheers!

Too bad, he has some skills and good at defending actually.
But like you said, if he also had a bad attitude, it would be a bad example to follow and make people reluctant to watch his matches again.

Any player who purposely set out to hurt a fellow footballer is inexcusable. But we must make a line between aggressive plays and outline malicious tackles. Mistakes like mistimed tackles, as well as accidents can and always, happen in football matches. Tough men in football is part of the game provided their play although hard and rugged, is fair. Roy Keane is a good example. He was tough with his tackles and I used to think it was fair and square until he revealed in his autobiography that he did once kick a player on purpose. I am not sure if he could have known of the consequences but that Norwegian player that he kicked from that match onwards was forced to retire from the game because of the injury. ( http://www.soccer-ireland.com/saipan/roy-keane/alf-inge-haaland.htm) I lost my respect for Keane as a person but I admire his football and his other achievements for Manchester United.
I think Pepe is more than just a robust player. He has what it takes to be a top-class player - he is playing for Real Madrid! Judging from his past record, Pepe has lost his cool sometimes and done stupid things. But he must still have something in him to make top coaches like Mourinho to keep using him. The fact that he was called "The Beast" says something about his character. Let's see what he would do next. If he keeps on playing "brainlessly" like you said, yes, it would be better if he is not playing.
