Of late, I have been working hard for the development of my blog. I always keep a close watch on the analytics and the traffic source. That really helps me in doing better and is an inspiration in itself. Today, in fact a while back, I checked the PR of my blog and to my pleasant surprise, it increased by by one - from 2 its now 3. I checked the PR in more than 3 months now. It is such a good feeling . How about your experience?

Hi pearloyster, you didn't placed your blog link on your mylot profile page. Then How can mylot friends can visit your site. To get placed the link go to 'preference' and below the avatar icon you can see the space for placing your blog or site link and blog name. This is a great facility provided by mylot.com to it's members. Why you are not utilizing this facility.Doing so, members will see your blog and subsequently the page rank will increase.

@Pearloyster, I think you should follow Josechukkiri's advice. I have done most of the things already that our friend has pointed out. So, that should give you good results. But yes, be prepared for the patience factor. As these are all white hat techniques, it will take time to show the results. But will be helpful in the long run.

Most of the mylotters are placed their site/blog links on their profile page. Visit and comment or follow those blogs. Most probably, they will do the same thing to your blog also.Continue to do so for few months. Definitely your rank will come up.

Hi abhi, congratulations on attaining the PR3 status. All the best for your hard work. While getting the rank still your in a blogspot.com position. It is better to bring the status to Dot Com. After reaching a good ranking and you are changing to custom domain, you will lose the ranking.Better customize then build the rank. Customizing will bring more traffic to your blog.

Hi, Yes, I was giving a thought to changing it to dot com. I am also aware of the fact that I will lose the ranking and that I will have to start everything from scratch - as far as the ranking is concerned. But I was so busy with other things, that I did not even get time to post news regularly as I had been doing in the past. So, that's why I did not give it a try. I still have some hectic schedule ahead of me. But one thing wonders me very often. I had heard from many other people who said that having a dot com is preferable to having blogspot dot com. But then how does it matter? I mean, what difference will it make technically. Please throw some light on this. I will really appreciate your efforts.

Well, I am no one to advice or neither am I an expert in this field. But what I did was - didn't worry about the results and stuck to my task. I was not earning a single penny for weeks together but had to put in a lot. But today, the scenario has changed for me. It took me two years. My blog will be two years old in the next month. Just follow the teachings of Lord Krishna as he told in the Bhadvat Gita - keep doing, don't worry about the fruits of your efforts. What more can I say... Good luck!

Amazing! I remember seeing your blog before and it has a lot of things in it where we can get information. As for me I haven't got any PR yet, I don't regularly update it but am still trying to put some updates whenever I can. It's such a great feeling and an achievement for sure!
