Clickbank question?

Hey all I joined clickbank yesterday and want to start promoting the products as I have an affiliate account with them.
If I put the links for the products I want to promote on traffic exchanges do you think this will help me to get sales on the products? Or how would you promote the products?

Putting links on traffic exchanges is completely useless.
If you are selling something, people will want to know why they need the product, what it will do for them and why they should buy from you rather than anyone else.
That means that YOU have to make it your business to know what your customers' problems are and to tell them specifically HOW the product you are promoting is going to solve them.
The product may well have it's own splash page (most do) but aren't they all the same old yada-yada? Did/would they convince YOU to buy the product? And, anyway, have you looked at the product to see whether it really does what it says? THAT is what people really want to hear and THAT is what will get you sales.
