Newcastle will travel to play against Fulham who has shown great spirit when beated Liverpool and Arsenal at their home. However, Newcastle has big ambition to overtake Arsenal in fifth position and pray hard for the gunners loss against Man United on Sunday. Even they have big problem since their top scorer, Demba Ba, will absence for his African cup duty for Senegal, along with Tiote for Ivory coast. Newcastle already hired cisse but he will be absence as well for African Cup. Now, they will have problem on attacking with the absence of Demba Ba and could be trouble with Fulham if they able to show improvement at home.. So what do you think about this match? Will Newcastle ambition accomplished or they will beaten by Fulham strong motivation? Possible starting eleven taken from skysports.com Fulham: Stockdale, Kelly, Hangeland, Senderos, Riise, Sidwell, Murphy, Ruiz, Dempsey, Duff, Zamora. Newcastle: Krul, Simpson, Coloccini, Williamson, Santon, Gutierrez, Gosling, Guthrie, R Taylor, Best, Shola Ameobi.

For Newcastle, they have lost their best defender in Steven Taylor to injury. They have lost their best forward in Demba Ba to the African cup of nations. They have lost their best mifield option in Tiote to the African cup of nations. They are further hurt by the injury to Cabaye their most creative midfielder. But, even then they managed to win last week with a very good goal from Best. They would be hoping for much of the same this week, though the test at Fulham would be difficult. Cheers! Ram

Newcastle went on to lose the match 5-2. After leading 1-0 at the half time, they really lost the plot in the second half. Clint Dempsey scored a hat-trick to seal the deal for Fulham. Cheers! Ram
