I also vote for AVG. Easy to use, daily updates, picks up all threats, and has an internet interface that reports websites with potential threats on it. I have used Norton, McAfee, and Kaspersky and none of these measure up to AVG.

If you are using windows os, I would recommend you microsoft security essential which can be downloaded for free from http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/mse.aspx. It is one of the best antivirus for windows I would say. It works only for genuine windows os.

If you are using Windows 7, i suggest the best antivirus is Kaspersky. This is why A Kaspersky is an united line of defense for your computer.I mean that, no other application is needed to keep your computer fully protected. It is good in protection against viruses and safeguards confidential information. The Kaspersky internet security suite features one of the toughest firewalls available on the market. Norton Antivirus is perhaps the oldest virus solution on the market, but with the previously mentioned software, it is no longer the best Antivirus for Windows 7. If you are using window XP, i would like to suggest that use only professional, highly rated products such as Norton, Kaspersky or Avg. Do not install multiple security programs, they cause conflicts. In my opinion, avoid install Norton because it really slow down the computer while the scanning or detect viruses. The main causes of system infection with any antivirus, is due to the fact that the antivirus developers are never up to date with the daily release of new viruses. Any advice what's the best antivirus for Windows XP that won't cause conflicts, but does the job without slowing down the system?

symantec endpoint is the best. it runs on low memory auto background scan, very light program with maximum protection and plus it updates itself, very user friendly. try it my friend
