Life's Countdown

Have you ever thought of counting your days here on Earth? If our lifespan is 65years, we have about 600,000hours at our disposal. Assuming we are 18years old when we complete highschool, we have 47years to live or nearly 47years or nearly 412,000 hours to live after graduation. If we spend 8hours a day sleeping. 8 hours for personal leisure,or recreational activities, and 8 hours for working, that amounts to 137,333 hours in each category. When we think of the time we have to work it out and play in time of hours. The years, days, hours are here and gone.We need to take it seriously, God set a goal for the time comes, we cannot return the time, instead invest the time.

i think is best to live life as if it were your last day in earth to enjoy every moment without thinking on the time or the years you are going to be here that would be a full and a great life :)

I'm glad you got my point, there are so many years, days, hours we wasted but in due time when we live life as we know it, we realized something is lacking/missing.

Why should I count the days or hours? Already right after birth it's the countdown. In some countries you die on the age of 45, in other (like mine) over 90 years old is seldom rare anymore. To most of us (including me) time stands still and nearly every day is the same after we left school, start working and have a family.

i just want to hear what's your opinion about the discussion,on how you reacted,We have different perspective about life.life's countdown is not literally waiting for the end,its a matter of awareness about your 24hours management. @muscles4me Sometimes in our lives we tend to look back our younger years.Recalling the days where we still active, living the life to the fullest. Some reached their dreams and goals. They were satisfied about life.

Nope I never tried counting my days here on Earth. As always, I want to live my life to the fullest. It's not good to always think about how many hours left we have in our life. We just need to live, work, love and survive.

As we go on to our different lives,we are very busy of the daily obligations. Some people rushing with works.others working so hard to earn living for their family. we are given many choices to live life normally.

Counting the hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades and even centuries is not a foremost necessity. It is the quality and manner by which we use this life that counts. As time passes, how are we able to leave a mark on the things we do? Were we able to make use of time wisely? To what we live our life for? These are the questions we need to answer and not let time passes just like a shadow vanishes.
