Plenty of people are donating or trying to help. The thing with big organisations is that a lot of the donated money stays in the pockets of the directions etc. Also a big problem is how to get the stuff over there. One for Africa (years ago) was a great example of that (and more bad examples came after that (our country National) donation day. By now most people in our country are tired of this, they have a hard time to pay their own bills (1 out of 8 is not able to do so anymore, we have food banks all over the country). This all besides of the fact from all the sky high tax we pay our governments give to other countries as well. Or they give loans, loans which never will be payed back. Why 1 country is more interesting as the other I don't know. Might be the oil? Or perhaps one country is more willing to build up itself as the other is? Or perhaps they say: it's nature, survival of the fittest. We will never know what the reason is, we can only guess.

somalia is icon of poverty country and many complicated problems.. but iam sure, not only somalia feel the poverty many poor country in african continent feel the same experience.. so maybe not only the united of African country, but UN must do something for preventing the poverty and hunger did not happens anymore

I think these organizations try their hardest to help; however, if the governemnt refuses to wake up out of its own delusion, there is little to be done. Force entry to the country might cause more causalities to the Somalian people. It's not easy to have a forceful overthrow a country's government, without the help and initiative oi its people. Personally, there are a lot of matters into this but the country's internal problems must be solve before any international effort can be seen. The governemnt must assume responsibility and accountability first before anything international can be done.

I think the UN and other organization are not to be blamed. In most cases, they usually give out relief goods and other stuffs but unfortunately, those goods eventually end up with the wrong people or those powerful figures instead of those who are in need.
