To those parents and & teachers i will recommend you to watch "taare zameen par" - (every child is special), it is Indian movie that surely teach you a lot and will surely touch your heart. Our professor, invited us to watch this movie and later on asked us to prepare a reaction paper regarding the movie, i was inspired by this movie... The story focused on the struggle of a kid in his school.. he couldn't cope up with the lesson ,always failed, cannot read , cannot write, cannot participate in the class discussion despite of religious tutorials...his parents were desperate and clueless what's the best thing to do with this kid.. In this movie you will witness the value of teachers, you will see how kid's overcome his struggle with the help of his art teacher.

Hello friend, that is always right to say that parents are just not enough. There are times when parents become blind with the love and protection for the kids and they start resisting the kid from the world outside the house. This is where teacher plays a very important role in a kid's life. A teacher not only teaches lessons, but also values and introduces the kid to the outside world and give the kid the knowledge of the survival in this world outside.

Yeah you are right.. too much love of the parents tend to forget discipline. That is why teachers are known as second parents of the child.

Hi I agree with you this is wonderful and sometime it happens in real life, but the majority of teachers do not really care and do not really have the talent to teach...at home parents often are cought in a guilty way by todays comsumism so Nintendos, WII, activities...and we loose contact with our kids...more and worste the protectionism mothers (also fathers) give to their kids spoiling them missing the most important part of their role and responsability which is EDUCATE THEM!
