It is not working any more. So I don’t plan to pay for repair for it. After it is just an old computer that is not good for any thing any more. It is just a waste of money to fix it. And someone is interested to ask it from me. So I am gladly giving it away. It is just too old and the casing of the cpu is made of heavy metal that is why it is so heavy when I carry it. But I am not giving away the monitor, only the cpu. Although I have other monitor, I still need the old flat monitor as it is doing okay and need it as a spare monitor. This is the only computer I had the one I am giving away, the computer we are using now are from my brothers or family computer. But I did enjoy using my old computer and I was able to earn well using my old computer. It had been used for 2 years almost.

I am sorry to hear about what happened to your old computer. Thank God, as for me, my 3 and a half year old computer is still there alive and kicking. But it was only being repaired and that was years ago. Just recently I changed my computer keyboard with a new one since it is not working anymore. Anyway, I am using my laptop now. I don't use my computer as often.

Unless the hardware is damaged, most old computers may work for many users' needs. Really, if you carefully select the software (not the last one but one with a lower resource footprint) older computers can perform as well as they used to do when they were state of the art. The real problem is that users attempt to install the latest version of everything without looking at the hardware requirements.

So i have a story to tell well a small story. On Monday i came into work like i always do during the week days, now my boss was sitting at her desk not doing much and finally said my computer went down last night(sunday) and the computer guy came and got, then the computer guy called on Monday and i went and picked it up and then i brought it back to the office and hooked everything up and well then it wasnt working again and i couldnt get it on so on Tuesday the computer guy came to the office and of course it started right up for him but said that we were going to have to get a new computer because its going to go soon on her again and since it was old they couldnt really do muchwith it except get her information of it and put it onto a new computer for her because they didnt make parts anymore for her computer. Well that being said i have learned this week about old computers and how they arent really working with the new stuff that is out in the world now.

That's good if you are giving it away. Someone may be interested to use it and it can help other people. Although it may not be useful for you, others can still benefit from it.

I also had an old computer. The CPU was outdated, not so old casing but the motherboard and other chips are quite old. I decided to sell the CPU for $20. I kept the monitor and now using it with the new CPU I have bought.
