Two Months' Unlimited Supply Of "Free" Cash. What Would You Do With It?

I've thought long and hard about this (about 5 minutes) lol and it all started when John told me one time that - eventually, paradise exists on Earth where money isn't necessary..in the Star Trek world that is. If I've got that completely wrong I'm sure someone will tell me.. However, it did get me thinking. For two months only you could visit any shop and "buy" whatever you liked and not be charged for it. The shop wouldn't care because they have free money for two months as well so therefore no losses for them either. Would there be restrictions? For example, if you desperately wanted an iPad2 could you buy more than one and sell the rest on eBay once the two months were up? I feel a bit uncomfortable with that one..dunno why. This experiment isn't allowed to promote greed BUT if you did buy more than one iPad2, you keep one and give the rest to a school or something. If I had free money for 2 months I would definitely sort this house out. John would have his mortgage paid off so then we could re-model, re-decorate, sell and start again somewhere else. Also, he could have a free car. With the food we wouldn't go mad as there is only so much we could put in the freezer anyway. We could feed others though as it would be free..so down to the "Sally Army" we'd go. Free money would also exist in the charity world. For example, charities that you would normally support but ordinarily you cannot through lack of funds..magically are a lot better off with your free money. And they have free money anyway so by the time the two months are up they're rolling in it..and quite right too. Oh, and you can buy everything on your Amazon wish-list..for nothing. After all that "spending" you can then go on that holiday you've missed out on through lack of funds. Weapons are not allowed to be made in these two months. Conflicts are "cancelled" for two months. Can you imagine that? It would make people sit back and think about what they're doing for a change. And you never know, some peace may come out of diplomatic rather than hostile actions.

Well I would definitely donate a lot of the money because i do not need much of it to make me happy. I would also save most of it for my college and the college of my children. I could definitely use a new car so the piece of crap I have now does not break down on me when I have my children in the car and I would pay my bills in advance so I have no stress or worry at the beginning of the month.

Sounds like a brilliant plan to me. I don't have children of my own so I'm hoping no-one thought I was being selfish er..not mentioning kids, although I did go on about donating a load of iPads to a school so, hopefully, that makes up for it. As for my hubby's car. It will be 21 on December 1st. Not sure if it will last that long but we do call it The Phoenix, so you never know!

If that were the case, I would get my hands on everything I always wanted and more then one of each. Yes, I would give things away myself. But I would take care of my family and my girls family. My kids would have whatever they wanted and also be taken care of. Yes, I would buy more then one iPad2 and iPhones and Macs and TV's and cars and everything. This way, I could sell off the remainder of those things. It would be nice and it is always nice to dream.

Don't forget you've only got two months to do all this in..but, there again if there is a lot of selling going on afterwards, well, that could keep you going for years. Don't forget to keep an iPad2 for me..a gold-encrusted one, ideally.

Hello Janey.. This is the best article based on imagination... Good Job! If I had free supply of money for 2 months, I'd fill up my pockets and house and every 'my' space with money... That will be the first thing to do.. And then I'll do similar things that you have planned.. . I wish someone would give us those 2 months- free months with free money... :)

Yes, I do have a vivid imagination at times but the responses have been waaaay better than what I've come up with, which is the whole point. A house-full of money. Love it. And, because it's "you" that money will never, ever run out, OK? Excellent.

HA! I was just thinking about this sort of thing - but it wasn't for just two months - ha ha! Let's see . . . I'd try to take care of life's necessities so I won't have to think about that anymore after the two months are up. I'd get a house first for our family in a great area (that's allowed right - even though you don't technically buy them at a store) . . . or maybe even "several" nice properties, so I can rent them out, again, for after the 2 months are up. And then fill up the house, of course - furniture, kitchen appliances, cars, etc etc . . . all the stuff we need - and since it's free - perhaps all the "best" stuff we can possibly need. And then I'd try to do the same for my family (like our parents) and siblings . . . and possibly some friends who could really really use the help. Do gift cards count (since we have to "buy"?)? This way the cash could last longer than 2 months (and in CA, the gift cards would never expire!). Can't hold up too much money in gift cards though - businesses can go out of business eventually. Gift cards for restaurants, grocery stores, places like Target or Walmart . . . anywhere where the basic necessities can be bought at a later date! "Buy" stocks to invest in - and take risks - since it's free money, nothing really to lose. Try to buy out something like Facebook? Hee hee. OMG - I could go on and on with this one.

This isn't limited to shops, you're quite right. So any investments you make are free because all companies (no matter who they are) have a free two months as well, including those who make Gift Cards lol. Wouldn't it be great if you could go into a high-end store and go, "Right, I'll have that, that and THAT!" Then you could go into the Estate Agents and find the most expensive house and say, "Right, I'll have THAT in order to put all my high-end stuff in!" Haha!

Seriously!!! I wouldn't mind going into a store and just point to everything I want and be able to get it (which reminds me of a Michael Jackson interview . . . he went into his favorite store and did just that . . . ah, to have that kind of money). Two months this would be plenty of time for me to take advantage of . . . heck, I would even take two days (or even hours) of FREE money!!!

Hi Janey John is right there will be paradise one day. It will be when the True Christ returns to this earth to reclaim HIS kingdom. And when that happens there will be no need to have any money. As for the free two months of money will everyone in the world have free money during this time? Could you keep any of the money after the two months was up? As for what I would buy I would buy all kinds of wood working tools and a couple of great sewing machines. I would give a lot to all the charities that supported the true word of God. I would send millions to the ministry that we listen to he teaches the true word of God. We would build homes for the homeless. Could you buy property and keep it after the two months was over? If so we would buy and build places for those that couldn't afford it. We would also pay for those that couldn't afford to go to doctors. No one would be without what they really needed. But this will all happen when The True Christ retuns anyway! But then again if we have all that we want what else would there be for us to desire? A good dream!

Whatever happens during the two months you could keep whatever comes out of it. I dream because it's a way of coping with things and yes, I would give to charity too, as would everyone who has responded on here up to now. Restores my faith in human nature, that's for sure.

Sounds like what happens in science fiction and communism.Take it for what it is worth,If I get the golden opportunity,I may "buy" a lot of alarms and hearing aids and give the old people that want them as a present. With ageing of population, many old people live in solitude, owing to having no children or because their son or daughter doesn't work where they live in,so more often than not,for those unable to make a phone call, they can't call for help in case of emergency. No doubt, the alarms are good for them.As to hearing aids,Many people who are up in years need them.If we give them that,It is just as a old saying here" send charcoal in snowy weather".

If I had free money I would buy a house and build it to my specifications. I would be able to open my own pre-school where kids can be educated and parents do not need to worry about paying tuition. I would also buy my husband a new car (that he would be able to drive after his foot gets better). I would help my parents pay their house. If only this could be true.

I know, it would be marvellous wouldn't it? However, I've read many times that daydreaming is good for you and I do this all the time and it hasn't done me any harm..apart from getting frustrated at times but that's normal for anyone on the planet, even rich people.

I would probably buy a home, and then buy a huge storage building to put stuff into.. I’d have like a store of my own where I could store freezers, and hundreds of shelving units, and I’d buy all manner of canned goods to put on there, and also commodities to sell on eBay to the highest bidder to keep stuff stocked as we use it up. I might even buy millions of dollars worth of prepay Visa cards so that I’d never run out of money.

What a brilliant idea..never running out of money. Marvellous stuff.

I'll probably buy a big house and a car and buy some stuff that I can put up a business after that two months of free supply of money, so that even it end I still have business that will support my needs. and also of course when I finished all of that it surely is stressful planning and getting all I want and need so I need some vacation, I will choose the most expensive vacation that I can't surely afford whenever that free money supply end.

If I will be given the chance to have this opportunity, first thing I would do is to settle all my financial obligations. get a house, car, and gadgets for my family. I will probably go on tour. and i will also invest on some properties. i will also have a total make over. lose weight, have my teeth fixed. And for the final of week of the second month, I will donate to institutions some money, donate some to flood victims, its like giving back to God what has been given to me.. the chance to change my life..

All your ideas there are brilliant and selfless. I like the fact you're thinking of others, not just yourself. It would be great if we could all follow your example..and I would lose weight by, probably having liposuction, something I would never consider having under normal circumstances. Either that or one of those gastric bands..or a treadmill..or a gym. My, you've got me thinking now!
