Michael Ballack's career at Bayer Leverkusen will not seem long, after Bayern leverkusen complaining about poor performance of former German national team captain since his comeback last season.
After Ballack contract terminated by Chelsea after the 2009/2010 season, he decided to return to the Bundesliga and strengthen Leverkusen, the club which make popular his name
Ballack is expected to perform well in their own homeland as an attempt to come back into the German national team. But unfortunately the dream of Ballack can not be achieved until now.
He is still involved with the "cold war "Der Panzer coach, Joachim Loew, and appearances in his first season despite a disappointing judged capable of carrying Leverkusen qualified for the Champions League. Last season Ballack only appeared 20 times and accounted for two goals,
and of course it make several leader in bayern leverkusen is tired and think twice about Ballack contract..Hm
whats happen with Ballack??
is he wrong choose the next club after Chelsea??or this is because the age factor??
it`s sad if we are lost one of the best midfielder in the world in his time..one of the best i think and very complete
don`t you remember when he is succesful bring Germany into final in world cup 2002 even he can`t played for Germany in that fina..

I think Ballack has had a long and successful career. Of course, he has missed out on two of the biggest titles in the World Cup and the Champions League title and hence there will be a small hole in his trophy cabinet. But still he has been an iconic player with a very successful career.
Cheers!

Michael ballack is old and he no longer has the drive, passion to play his best football. All he wanted is only the pay check payable to him. All the talk about returning to his club, to his roots, is merely talk. He's only a midfielder and he doesn't have to do much running. All he needs is a creative brain, to set up goals for his team mates. When he's not able to do what he's being paid for, there's no point in keeping him. His prime is over.

Age and injury.
Two biggest enemy for any players. You can't avoid that.
Ballack get those two, and it could mean he's near the end of his career.
That's all.

yes, ballack maybe must remember that his age now more than 30 years old
but we can remember many 30 years old can be good like Raul in schalke,Drogba in Chelsea, Del piero in Juventus, our Prince Totti in AS ROMA , Di Natale in Udinese and so on
and they are representative of the club...
