I read that this book was on the bestsellers list so I thought I would give this discussion a shot. (I normally get an average of about ZERO responses on my book discussions LOL i must have a unique taste in books) - but I just read this book and I thought it was FABULOUS and definitely worth reading. From the looks of it, it seemed like a suspence novel when I picked it up at the thrift store for $1 (A crime/mystery one). Turns out it's really not - just about a girl who's a writer and lives in NYC - how her life starts unraveling and she starts questioning her identity and the identity of her parents after one incident. It was really good! I am surprised as normally new authors tend to disappoint. Have you read this book? If so, what did you think?!

I read this book several months ago so I'm a little fuzzy on character names and plot points but I did enjoy reading it so I'd be happy to discuss it. I know what you mean about book discussions though, seems like the ones I find already started on here are really old and/or no one comments on my response! It sure had a lot of plot twists and turns didn't it? There were a couple of characters I thought were going in a different direction from how things ended up. Isn't it funny how sometimes timing is everything?
