Have you ever had to put your favorite hobby or craft on hold (for almost a year)? Well, that happened to me this past year, as a lot of you might have seen, Texas had the worst wildfire season last year, and I was on my share of those fires. So, everything else pretty much got put on the back burner. We finally got a break, and I decided that after Christmas I would pull out all of my scrapbooking supplies, and set up my scrapping area again. It was like having a second Christmas! After not doing any scrapbooking for almost a year, I had forgotten what I had. So I decided to do an inventory before I went shopping. And after doing several layouts, okay, getting caught up on last years events.....I was asked to do a scrapbook for someone else, yes, and get paid to do what I love! I also am getting my Memory-works consulting back in order too! After having to put things away, and not having anytime to do your favorite craft/hobby, how did you feel when you finally were able to get it all back out and start doing it again?

Hi there palonghorn, it is great that you are back on track and that you are enjoying what you are doing right now, not all of us can do it but i guess if we all work hard well allhave the spare time to do what we love, and my hobby right now is designing small apartments that is what i am into right now.

Do you design the apartment buildings or interior design/decorating? I have been doing what I love for the past 15 years, wildland firefighting, but am starting to think it is time to move on to other things now, good luck with your hobby
