Hey guys, I hate this part it always happens to me and I never learn, i know that i am on the road to change but some things get left behind, I dont love doing too much laundry and its hard for me. So what i do is i pile them up for a week then i try to do them but this last week ive been to a lot of places and the clothes piled up, i hate doing it but yet i have t so that i dont have to do twice as much next week, ahhhh this is so frustrating. But better now than next week right so that it would be less.

I am very good at getting clothes washed and dried, but ironing is something that builds up for me. One of the things that I have found that works for me is trying to build it into your daily routine. For example, there is a show on TV that is on every Friday at 9 O'Clock in the evening, and I have decided that I am not going to let myself watch this unless I am ironing at the same time. The very fact that I am building it into my routine helps me to make sure that I do it, and it means that I never end up with piles quite as high as I might have done in the past.

Yeah right, it is better to do them now then have the pile keep accumulating. Keep in mind too the benefits of having done them the right time and remember that feeling when you accomplish it. Also, if you have enough money and extra, you can go for the laundry shops to save you time to do what you want to do unless they are unimportant tasks.

Me too! We have laundry piled up in every stage of the process: dirty, just washed in washer, dryer(just stopped), baskets of clean laundry waiting to be folded, baskets of folded waiting to be put away. Putting away is the worst! Strangely enough I saw this post just at the time I told myself it was time to get offline and start back up with the laundry! So now it's back to work. Good luck!

That is the one thing I hate doing too...I don't know why! I live by myself so it's not like the old days when I had three kids living here....today I got mine all caught up...so it's behind me for a few days!

hi deodavid I always loved doing the laundry and having things all clean and fresh again. Odd the tasks different people here hate . with me its the dishes, the never ending daily dishes that must be washed and put away. At least with laundry you can put it of for awhile while with dishes they must be done three times a day every day.a rrgh.

I am much the same way. My biggest thing is not the actual washing it is the getting it all put away. I have to do not only mine, but my husband and child's as well. I got several loads washed yesterday, but have to fold and put it away. It takes so much time.

Every weekend i make a point of doing my laundry - i ususally end up with 2 loads including sheets and towels...of dark stuff and one of white. Occasionally a red/pink load as well. I also try to make sure i put them away but then...them sitting out waiting to be folded drives me squirrely.

I think I wouldn't mind doing laundry if the washer and dryer were closer to us. We live in an apartment and the laundry facilities are on the other side of the complex. I have two kids, and I don't like to leave them in the apartment alone, so sometimes I literally have to run to get it done. Sometimes other people in the apartment are using them - and sometimes the rude ones leave it in the machines just sitting there - so I don't get a chance to use them when I need to. If it wasn't such a hassle, I think I wouldn't mind it so much. But when it's all done - ahhhhh - what a good feeling to have finished this chore!

I think its four days apart when I wash my clothes. I'm not good with laundry care and only 75% is clean when I finish washing but it's okay. I would rather have less clothes to wash than wait until they pile up.
