Hey there guys,
I don't agree with the impeachment lately about the chief justice it is sloppy and very messy, that impeachment complaint had been processed, and was handed down to congress within less than four hours and was signed and approved immediately it wasn't even read thoroughly it was over one hundred pages worth of complaint yet it was passed and signed by the congress with less than four hours, so you guys tell me isn't it fishy that this impeachment has started on a crooked note.

i understand your situation. but will you not agree that government officials should be accountable to the public? as such, they should be honest in their dealings with the government. as chief justice, he should be the model of compliance to the law. the prosecution has alleged and shown proofs of discrepancies to the SALN. it is up to the defense to repute those allegations. i am for transparency in the government. goodluck to the defense.

It you take some time to watch the impeachment proceedings, you will be "thrilled" to know that it might just be finished one year from now with the rate the proceedings are going on. If there is one reason why I still continue to watch the impeachment is because of the presence of Miriam Defensor and Serafin Cuevas. I can easily agree with you that the impeachment in Congress was sloppily done. The prosecutors often arrive at the proceedings unprepared that they have to stutter and fumble. Were it not for the several senators of the majority party who stood up to assist the prosecutors, nothing would have come out not even the SALN. This impeachment is getting most of our attention and the government seems to at a standstill waiting for the decision of the Senate jurors. It is the economy that is suffering while the impeachment is going on.

On things I don't get: it's like there always have to be impeachment. I mean, can't they just spend their time on more worthwhile activities rather than blaming each other? They should just continue debating and passing inspired bills for people rather than waste their time on something that's happened in the past. Or can they just divide the government officials there in half, the first half continuing with the impeachment proceedings and the other half continuing with government work? That way taxpayers like us will see that they're actually doing their job.

If it makes you feel any better the rest of the world does the same thing these days. Congress doesn't read what they vote on, then spend half their time doing anything but what's good for the country. Only difference I guess, would be the lack of impeachments.
