I kind of remember there is a cousin of mine and I dont want to watch horror movies with her around cos when she got scared, she have tendencies to hit the person next to her. she will either slap that person's back or shoulder, pull their hair or bury her nails to that person's skin, I really dont know why is she violent when she is scared, When my sister gets scared of a horror movie, she just cover her eyes or scream. My girlfriend just hug me. kids usually jump when horror movies have chase scenes. I really dont know why that cousin of mine is that violent when she is scared. I also remember my friend's girlfriend also have tendency to hurt people when she watches a horror movie and get scared,. seriously why hurt the person next to you.

I think that's their way of coping up with their fear. People behave differently and so people react differently when they are scared. My little nephew and niece hide behind my cousin's back when they get scared of a scene in TV. I seldom get scared but if I do, I just cover my eyes (with an opening in between fingers for one of my eyes ) or if I get surprised, I let out a small scream. But most of the times, if the scene is scary, I get more tentative to the show.

there ar ejust some people not meant to watch horror movies. its better to isolate your self away from them if you will watch with them.

Wow, she is really a horror herself to sit next to while watching a horror movie. I suggest she watch it with someone who sits far away and not in her distance to receive any violence while she feels scared, that would be selfish of her. Does she feel bad about it afterward or does she make jokes about it? I wonder if she tells people not to sit near her, or just thinks she isn't doing any hard by her violent actions, lol.

she is violent too when she watches comedy, if she laughs, she cant help to slap your back too. its her defense mechanism.

It makes no sense to me why your cousin would act so violently toward you while watching horror movies. Best I can come up with is she is experiencing an impulsive response to intense fear. I don't blame you for not wanting to watch horror flicks with her. Getting beat up through the whole movie doesn't sound all that fun.

Thats why if I willgive her a visit I will never watch a movie with her. she also hurts people in comedies. she slaps your back if she saw something funny and she laughs scandalously.

hello Capt, I guess those people feels like they're the one inside the screen. Too much absorption with the movie makes them feel it's real and they want to fight back with the killer or the ghost or the villain (whatever) Whew!- I will never watch any movie with those kind- they are scarier than the movie eh!

I have a friend who's like that- really scared of horror and gory movies; good thing he doesn't hurt anyone near him but just covers his eyes and tells us to stop.. being with people who physically hurt others when they get scared is not cool- you should stay away from her to avoid being hurt or just not make her watch movies like that.

Well, I guess that is the defense mechanism of your cousin regarding horror movies. But is your cousin single and beautiful? I might ask her to watch a horror movie with me. It will be okay for me to get hit by a beautiful lady while watching a scary movie after all. As long as she's beautiful. Kidding aside, I do have some tendencies like that too. I also slap the person next to me when I get surprised or whenever I laugh out hard. Sometimes it is natural with the body to do so. I will just suggest you that you bring around a pillow for her to expend her energy with. This will surely save you from having a bruise after the movie.

nope she is married and homely now, so most likely, her husband is the one getting injuries watching horror movies with her weird defence mechanism. I just got the idea to post this thread cos she just gave birth.

Lol that is weird, alright. I guess they feel comfort when they have something else to do and it's just unfortunate that they are violent when they are in scared mode. It's best if people with that tendency has an object that they can squeeze so that they refrain from hurting other people. It would be hilarious if that happens inside a movie theater and she's sitting next to a total stranger.

By far have you experienced watching horror with someone like that? I also cant tolerate the screamers but I rather watch with some screamers than a violent scared person. I think giving those people a pillow or a teddy bear might do. They can abuse those things and they wont complain.
