wow..
Spurs is quickly for movement
they release Roman Pavlyuchenko to Russian league
and get Louis saha as their replacement but they send on loan their player, Steven Pienaar to Everton
for Pienaar, he come back to Everton
many things i don`t expect from this transfer
sometimes i think the manager is hurry when deciding something..
what do you think about it??

There could be many reasons behind it.
One is like you said. But the other it could be the player could not adapt with new environment, including coach, teammates, or tactics.
But the worse is, if the player came without the agreement of the coach!
And this happens in many clubs, including big teams!

I can't really say about it.
I think Pavlyuchenko still better than Saha.
But well, if someone has no intention to play anymore (because too much sitting in the bench) then better replace him with someone with new energy.
I do hope Spurs get stronger. It's nice to see they could compete in the BPL and UCL.

Like i mentioned, january transfer are usually weird and senseless. Some players are not even worth buying but still they are been paid a lot for it. SPurs has lots of forwards at their disposal and i don't understand why would they get an injury prone Louis Saha when Roman Pavlyuchenko is so much better. Unless out of desperation, i don't think any managers like last minute signings as they would have to spend time thinking how to fit that player into their system.

I think it was a clearance sale at Tottenham. He wanted to reduce the number of players in the team who are not getting play time. So Pavlyuchenko's transfer to Russian league was not a surprise. For Pienaar he was a star player for Everton, but could never hold down his spot in Tottenham. So for him it is a good return back to Everton.
Cheers!

I am not surprise with Pavlyuchenko's departure but I did not expect Redknapp to get Saha as his replacement. Given his injuries history, it is pretty clear he wont be able to contribute much. As for Pienaar, his career nosedive since he left Goodison and is a bit-part player in Tottenham. A loan move might be good to kickstart his career again.

The business is done at the last minute but the process could have been on for some time. They just didn't announce it until the deal is confirmed and sealed. Sometimes it could have been just a strategy to do last minute deals. "if you want to keep and pay a player that you don't want for another 4 months, fine. If not, sell to me for 30% less of what you are asking. You have an hour to decide before the transfer window closes".
