The delivery people around here will call and tell us if they are going to be later. I do alot of my food ordering for delivery online, so they will call and say "it's going to take longer". Of course dominoes has a little meter we can watch. If it's going to take longer then i want then I just have them cancel my order. I usually tip about five dollars.

Lol totally up to you. I would tip them if they made it early or on time. But double the expected delivery? No way... why pay them extra for giving you a bad service? If they have a convincing excuse and you have a heartfelt sorrow for them then go give them extra. It's not a mandatory thing. People just do it because you're thanking them for their trouble in getting to your home. Do whatever you want.

Well, I don't think its rude though. If you want to tip, do tip, if you don't it's not wrong. But then, people would call tipping probably as a common courtesy. A sign of appreciation or thank you, for delivering it to your house or wherever you are. However, you don't need to worry though, everything is charged actually. You have paid for the delivery when buying your food. ( might it be pizza? ) so yea, tipping is just an additional thing. If you feel bad about it, then tip him/ her. Of course ,they would feel better and motivated if you do so. You might just make their day:P anyways, they won't bear any grudges if you don't . So yea, it's up to you to decide actually.:D give me some pizza XD
