Love is feeling of contentment,a joy and a feeling of pain too.
Because you can't be in perfect love because there is also people will hurt you through love..
Its always part of life the pain to experience to be strong and to overcome it..
Its part how we can solve it and be always positive its a testing to us.
You may be feeling great happy,but other times you will feel the pain/hurts..

Yes love can be painful some time provide happyness and other time provide pain. Even two person love to each other but they fight on small event in one moment and in other moment they talk to each other happily.

It is very painful and can hurt too. I hate when you find someting you dont want to find out from the one you love and when you find it hurts you so bad that you really dont know what to do. My boyfriend doesnt unerstand sometimes why im mad at hime and this and that but there are things i need in life from him and not getting them hurts sometimes. Its a relationship and should work both ways but love is painful like you have stated and its not always there for you when you need it the most.

Sometimes relationship is painful if both are not agreeing and no understanding each others and will cause of fights.
Its life part to have that and maybe we just need maturity .

I think even you are in the right love still something hurts but less,than the hurt to the wrong person because it will hurt you much for leavening and others too painful but charge as an experience.

indeed when you have shared your feelings you must also learn how to accept the pain. as the many people says, pain is a part of love. hence, you will not appreciate the love when the pain is not arising within the relationship. however, the pain should be handle and tackle in the proper and right manner so not to ruined the relationship.

Love can be definitely painful. it can be the best and worst thing. The worst thing I think for me would be loving someone who would never feel the same way towards you.
I feel sad seeing couples because it makes me realize how lonely I am and how much I miss having someone there with me.

Its painful if you only one who loves and not the partner because its feeling of you are not enough..But if you are loving each other i think lesser the hurts although circumstances can't be avoided but its part of life to be experience.

Agree,love is true there is pain, love can be positive,and pain can minus or negative ..
Its like mathematics i like more + than minus.Plus is a combination or sign to be a positive can be in good love,and minus is negative side more pain,problems etc..
But we do only one will think how to solve the problems.

I agree that love can be painful. Like you mentioned no one is perfect. Therefore at some point in our life someone who loves us will hurt us. We have to do our best to overlook those things so we can be happy and the other person as well.

I read all of what you say and all of the responds so far and almost everyone said that love hurts...
let's define a "good relationship" as a peacefull relationship of love that doesn't require the partners to sacrifice their own selves , no arguments ,and no problems.
What makes you think that a "good relationship" does not exist ?
If you have enaugh money and time to be with each other and your characters are good for each other , you are true friends and some common hobbies ... I think it will make a love without pain and no sacrifice.

Nobody ever said that love is not painful. Pain is there in all kind of shapes.
If you can't be yourself, if you have to sacrifice, to give in, it's always painful.

What you said in your discussion is true and I have experienced the pain of love. This is one reason I don't date anymore and am going to be single all my life. Love is to hard to deal with. Relationships are way hard to work on! I am better off single and alone! I only have to worry about myself and noboby else! If I was not like this I would be trying or found the love of my life and be happy! Instead I am happy single and being by myself!

i agree with you. of course it is part of our life its like a trial that we must past that pain so we should me strong enough to handle this situation. we must think positive and always think it is just only a test given my GOD. i think there's no perfect when it comes in love.
