Big and traditionally strong clubs do not do panick buys in january transfer windows because it would disrupt their plan and overall play. Furthermore, it takes time for players to gel into the team and therefore it's best not to do anything. Just take a look at Man United, chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona, Ac, Real madrid, they are very quiet during this transfer window. What's more, with players signed now, they are not eligible to play in Europe if they have played with another team within the same season.

let us open case by case MU had call back one of their legend, paul scholes for anticipating the storm of injured and it is effective now.. Arsenal is unlucky because Jack wilshere is spending his season with a medical room and arsenal is unlucky get their target in january..they are lucky, Henry want to help them again Chelsea had landed one of the good defender in EPL, gary cahill even they lost Alex.. Real Madrid is enough because they had much make purchase in previous transfer market what about Barcelona?? with many of their player in Barcelona B, Pep is satisfied with his squad now now, you can imagine with bayern situation

I think they won't do any rush in this mid-season transfer window. Despite that they have Ribery who's back from the injury, maybe like you said, they think they already have enough depth in the squad. Maybe the result they get in the end of the season will be a consideration which step will they take to move on.
