Hi guys, For those who are interested in science and are willing to help someone out, I am looking for an innovative and doable scientific experiment project idea that can be achieved by a 17 year old. I know that most of you will just tell me to go on the internet and take a look, but I want to ask if any of you mylotters have any experiment ideas that can potentially address a huge problem in society and yet someone without professional equipment can do at home and have some substantial data to form a conclusion. All ideas are accepted, and I really hope that we can share our ideas. :) Cheers.

Well, I remember reading someone here in mylot saying you could make batteries out of lemons and other citrus fruits... a copper nail and an iron nail (I think) inserted into the lemon and attach copper wire to both nails and then hook the wires to a light bulb.. supposedly the light will turn on. Maybe a bunch of lemons would power a motor of some kind?

Wow, thanks for your input. :) The idea does sound interesting. :) I would like to try that out, though I am kinda looking for something more unique and not done before - which is why I am asking for this brainstorm from my friends to help me think about something that can be easy to implement and yet can help countless people. But I really really really appreciate your reply. :) Thank you very much. ;) By the way if you have any other ideas feel free to post below!!!!

Yes. i have a idea. Make telegraph. it was the method used to transmit messages far of places.. it involves the use of a language. this language includes dots and dashes.. the thing is that you should do itself what olden times did.then is a little bit of tough but you could get a prize!! you can look about it in internet. it can't be explained through texting. you should look at video. Really a very good subject!!
