We all know how hard it can be, but it can be the best decision to make or thing to do. Let go of unfairness that life throws at you, and let go of harsh criticism. Let go of broken treasured/past friendships. Let go of anything and everything that hinders you and your relationship with God. Do you ever think God is teaching you a hard lession of letting go and accepting things you can't change? In the end it just might be for the perfection and growth of your well being.

for me it's God's way of saying, I'm here with you. true, it's teaches us lessons in life to become a better person and it is up to you how do you take it. we cannot please all the people around us. some people have the habit of pulling people down. be proud if people pulls you down. it's an indication that you are up there and they are under you. have no fear because God is always up there, He will always lend you His hand for you to hold on tight.

Oh yea, there are people who are hell bent on bringing others down cause they are in a down mode to begin with, many times this has been the case with them. No way can we please everyone, that is not even humanly possible ever. I have always depended on the ways of God and his guidance, thanks for the input shylade!

I think if we are in situation that we need to let go our love one. God have a good reason why he give us that kind of test in life. Maybe he just want us to learn how to love more our self and there is also possibility that he want us to find much better than them.. I also been in a situation that i need to let go my special someone because she suffering in her sick so i need to give her up and let her be in our God.

I hope your decision to let go has benefited both you and her. You didn't explain what exactly the 'sick' meant so I'm just guessing it means an illness of some sort, is that right?
