Any friend can be our family

Good day Fellow Mylotters,
I just want to share something regarding the TV show that I have seen this afternoon. Because the words which was being uttered by the lead actor is regarding a family. Thus, according to the lead guy, a family cannot be measured in a blood relationship. Hence, any friend can be our family if he/she accepted, understand, love and respect for what we are. And when I heard those lines, I feel like crying. Thus, the family where I am living now, is not a person like that. Although, they show some respect but not the acceptance and understanding. The reason why we ended up here quarreling and yelling to each other.

Family is just family. I think that for someone to be really "family" it takes time. effort and a real want to be together to share. People just depend too much on blood relations, not giving emphasis on the actual relationship but hiding from the title "family." You have to work on the relationship to reap the benefits of real closeness and mutual respect etc.
