Hello dear fellow mylotters. Hope you all are enjoying. Good day. Coming to the point, Do you think a lot?! I have a friend of mine, whom I met recently in my office and she is my colleague and kind of a good friend now! She is someone who thinks a lot about all the things of life. She is someone who can give you the reasons of the age old rituals that we follow, she can explain you the nature of your human brain, she can find out about you almost about 75% within about just 15mins of speaking to you and things like that. She sometimes is kind of weird. I mean, she does a lot of thinking and other than that, she sometimes speaks about things that we never can even think about. There is something that she keeps telling that, the more you think, the more you can find all the answers of your life. Is that true?! Thinking really gives us the clarity?! Do you also think so much in life and learn about things?! What do you think?! Cheers.

Most time is good to occupy one's brain with thinking depends on what the brain thinks about because thinking is a part of a brain exercise,Naturally human's brain is a thinking organ that learns and grows by interacting with the world through perception and action. Human's brain is a thinking machine, thinking is also same as mental stimulation it improve brain function and actually protect against cognitive decline. As i said earlier that it depends on what the brain is thinking, Always allow positive thought than negative, Negative thought gives headache.

If people think more they create trouble for us. Instead they should concentrate on day to day happening and proceed straight away. Many times when I am feeling diffident things do not happen well. so better keep your mind happy and hopeful all the time.

@Ladyfeli : Yes, the more positive we think, we actually feel happy and the negative thoughts make us depressed and they do also spoil our mood! As ravisivan sir said, we should certainly be hopeful about things and look forward to the better future.

I don't think if "thinking" alone can make us learn about life. Experience is the best way in finding the answers in life. If someone thinks a lot and says something unbelievable, then it's creepy. Lol. I don't mean to talk badly about your friend as to me, she is weirdly smart. :) But I can also take a conclusion about someone's character and brain quantity in 15 minutes talking. Pfff...I don't know how to say it clearly, but bottom line is that we can't find answers about everything only by thinking. Sometimes we have to share something and people's opinion can make us conclude or find the answers. Something like that. And about me, if the definition of "thinking" is what your friend does, then no. I don't think a lot. What I do with "thinking" is that sometimes I'm worried too much. :)

Your friend reminds me of my bf, except I wouldn't consider him to be weird. He's a highly intelligent person, the smartest one I've come across. Like your friend, he's quite intuitive and can get a pretty good sense of how a person is just by talking to him/her. He's got a huge knowledge base so for him, everything just comes from prior experiences. He's met a ton of people and has had plenty of close relationships with people in the past so he's definitely a people person and can read a person well. He's the type to see patterns in everything and apply them whenever he can. His main mode of learning is by getting inside the other person's mind and figuring out their thought patterns. When it comes to other things, he reads a ton, which further contributes to his knowledge base. It's amazing how he stores all of this information in his brain sometimes. He'll say things that completely blow my mind away sometimes, gives me goosebumps. Although he can be a bit cocky sometimes, I know deep down he just wants to help others and wants to be heard. For him, it's all about making a difference in someone's life. He recently left his job which he had no passion for, to go back to school to pursue his true dream. That's taking a huge risk, but it's an intelligent move. I think it just comes down to interacting with different types of people and being aware of the different personality types. I don't have much experience with that but I hope to learn one day. I think a lot myself, but not about intelligent or worthwhile things. I think a lot for completely different reasons. I don't think thinking a lot makes someone intelligent. It's WHAT the person thinks about that indicates whether or not he or she has substance.

hello friend, My friend is just like your bf! I don't think there is any difference at all in both of them. My friend to keeps telling that she wants to pursue her career in her own school and she wants to go back there because, that is the age for the kids to learn a lot of thinks and the attitude that we put into their minds at that age will make them great people in the future. I guess your bf also has chosen for the same reason. Great and cool people to be with know!

I would love to meet your friend. I believe she can determine who and what you are in just a matter of seconds if she really does what I think she does. Most people have a way of using words that allows those who are observant a view of the person's past, present and future, personality, character and way of thinking. Knowing about the human brain is quite easy if one really stops talking and takes the time to listen to oneself. Sometimes, it does not take the action of "thinking" in order to learn something...this I found out just by taking the time to shut up and listen both outside and inside my person. This is just one of the things I've learned throughout the years of doing what I'm doing: Our brain holds limitless capacity limited by human belief and emotions. But the things that can free one's mind too is only through one's decision: To free oneself from limitation or not?

hello friend, you could if you both are okay with it. but I doubt something like that happening. I don't see her speaking to any friends on phone that much and she is always in her own silence. As you said, she prefers to stay quite. But then, she is not boring, once she starts moving around, I mean, if she is really in the mood to make us happy, then at once we all will be laughing in less than 10mins. She switches her mind so well and she can control the way she wants to behave. I mean, she is always reading books, but speaks so well when you are speaking to her. You might think she is a nerd, but she is nothing like that at all. She is a lot confusing. I do not understand her properly.

good day 5mahi05, with regard to your main topic, before, i really think a lot. as if there will be no tomorrow for me. since i am the eldest among the four siblings. but things have changed as times goes by. and because my other siblings have already grown up so i need to think a lot for them. hence, they can now stand on their own. although, i am still thinking on how to earn more and more but not that much. as i believed God will supply all my needs according to His riches and glory.

Hello sheila, elder one's usually think a lot because you have all the responsibilities. Now that all your siblings have grown up, you would be a little relieved about thinking too much. Cheers!

We should think. But not think too much. If one starts worrying about unknown tomorrow then he wont be able to live in the present. Sometimes I use to think "Ignorance is a blessings in disguise". One who doesn't worry about the future and performs well in the present day wins on man occasions.

That's right! "Ignorance is a blessing in disguise". I love the sentence a lot! The more we think, the more complex the things appear. Thanks for sharing:)

yes i think a lot, i hate it when im thinking a lot because things in life sometimes have to say no need to think a lot about it, just do it or no, but thinking lot have to say did not help more, honestly i wish if i can just let the things take its time and it will solve its problem, but i can not i have to think and control many things in home and thats make it hard on me and people around also. how about money and health and so on.

some people are natural worriers ,they worry about everything even things that are not likely to happen . However it could be that she is exceptionally intelligent ; she seem to have the answers to every ones problems except hers. i think, but i prefer to give my brain rest most times
