A 69 year old woman has written a book about an affair with the late President Kennedy. She was just 18 and an intern at The White House. I think that it may be true and it sounds like a shockaroo.
Has anyone else heard about this? I think the book is just getting ready to be released. I am starting to hear stuff on the talk shows and you can get results when you search.
Since she never talked before, should she have now? I love scandals but none of the players are alive to deny what she is saying. However, Kennedy was known to be a ladies man.

I heard about this on the View. I will never change my view of JfK. I see him as a good president . A guy who could not be bought, he thought for himself. But he Was a ladies man. So could all this be true? Yes. Will it change the way I remember him ? No!

JFK was more than a ladies man (such a polite term). He had some kind of problems that caused him to need excessive romance (another polite term). think it had something to do with medications that he was taking.
But the Kennedy men have always been known for playing around. I think that is true of a lot of very famous and affluent persons, both men and women.

He did like girls, didn't he? So did his father and brothers. It ran in the family.
But I heard the same about lBJ and we all know about Bill of Bill and Hillary.
I feel for the kids when these things come out.

It's well know that JFK had many affairs,it just wasn't talked about the way they do things now. There's a story that Jackie knew of Jack's trysts with two different women who were invited to the same state dinner. She deliberately made out the seating plan to put one on either side of him.

I wonder if he loved it or if he squirmed. I think that most wives know when their husbands play around. Maybe they are glad. The husband's passion may be too much for them at times. Maybe they are glad that he found someone else and gave them a rest.

I never thought of it that way. I suppose Jackie put up with it because she did get to be the first lady. However, after marrying Onassis she seemed to go the opposite way and try to stay out of the news.

Yeah, but remember what happened. Jackie was widowed in Dallas. I am certain that day changed her forever. She was probably more aware of the evil that is out there and probably worried about her children.

Personally this could be the Truth, or someone just out there looking for a way to gain a quick easy buck. But why keep secret until now? Personally I am not sure what to believe, and I guess that will always be between her and her maker as well as to what really is the Truth.

I watched an interview with her last night. And I have been listening to other TV personalities talking about her.
She appears to be genuine and on the up and up. Apparently, she was "outed" a few years back by a historian writing about John F. Kennedy. And there have been other reference to her affair with the late President.
She has carried this secret with her since she was 18 years old. Her first husband never wanted her to talk about it but her second husband has given permission.
I can not recall her reasons for wanting to come public now but it seemed sincere during the interview. Some of the TV personalities talking about her today questioned her motives.
Her story does put a blemish on our late President. I feel for Carolyn and other member of The Kennedy Clan.

I am going to agree with you. I am a moderate who leans towards The Democratic Party. If a Republican did what Kennedy, LBJ and Clinton did, you are right. He would have been crucified. he would have been disgraced and would have had to resign office.
There is a double standard: one for Democrats and liberals and one for Republicans and conservatives.

I've heard of this very briefly, but I do have to admit that I think that the information that this woman is giving if probably true. The reason that I think that she decided to speak after all these years is because there is a chance that she may have signed some kind of a gag order all those years ago.
I also know that there is more information on Kennedy's assassination that will be publicly released at the end of a long-standing gag order very soon.

She seemed genuine and sincere. I do not know completely her reasons for going public, Other writers had "outed" her as she put it and she wanted to finally tell her side of her story. But it seems some of the facts were unnecessary. We will be hearing more about this.
How did you hear that we will be getting more information about the Kennedy assassination? When? I am ready.

I think it is very unfair to right books about private lives of anyone, I believe what you do with another person should always stay private, shame on people who make money out of something that is so personal and to do it when they are no longer around to defend their own reputation is wrong.

I do not mind a good scandal if the accused are still alive to defend themselves.
I do not know about public lives and private lives. I think that our elected officials, especially those in very high office, should have very high morals. Unfortunately, most do not.
