The color of our rating star

I have searched the guidelines and cannot find the answer. I hoped a senior mylotter might help out here. What decides the color of our star in the ratings?

hi chyrstaltears the rating that all of us should do decides the percent rating of each of us and the star that matches that percentage will be given to you; the more you do quality posts and get many more pluses the more your rating will go up. our reputations are used in counting our earnings in the mylot admins algorithm. So do rate everyone as you read and respond as it helps all of us to gain higher percentages. the higher the percentage in your star the more you can earn.I believe the info you were looking for is in the FAQ's so check there too.

Okay, so my percentage is 68 and my star is white and your percentage is 94 so your star is red. So if your percentage goes down your star changes colors and if your percentage goes up, there's another color. Thanks. I think I get it.
