I can't get my car started tonight

Tonight, after dinner, I suppose take my mom to the pharmacy to get some vitamin and herbal pills. When we ready to go, and sit in the car, I tried to crank start my car, it just won't start. I was afraid it was the battery dead. But the lights are okay, and the radio just fine. I afraid that is the ignition, or the starter problem. I cranked it a couple more times, and it was just useless. I don't know what to do at the moment, and hopelessly to crank start a couple more times. Finally, the engine started, and it is running. But my mom just afraid to ride with me on this car to the pharmacy. Anyway, maybe it is time to get my car to check in again. I hate to say this, I don't know much about car, maybe I should do some self - education on car maintenance on my own. Any good suggestions?

I got a suggestion..sign Me up for maintenance Ed too,as I can just about figure your electrics and the battery sound to be fine if they'll keep the lights on and cranking the engine until it starts, but I'm a bit lost on what the problem after that might have been..

It just had something to do with the cable connection to the battery. It was perhaps loose that made starting the engine difficult. Clean the head of the battery regularly. If the battery had been so low, it wouldn't have started. I hope this will help.
