Hmm, I don't know what else to do besides taking dramamine. I get motion sickness if I'm a passenger in cars, on airplanes...even if I swing on a swing. I've always taken dramamine to help.
I don't know why you wouldn't be able to find it though =/ I know there's another motion sickness pill that works like dramamine. I can't remember the name but it begins with a B.

No problem, I hope you're able to find it. I know that they sell it at the airports because my parents will always buy it for me there if we forget to bring it on our trip.
I also took it on vacation once where we were going to be in a van all day driving around an island in Hawaii. The roads were very twisty and curvy but I never got sick because I took that little miracle pill lol

I have struggled with motion sickness since I can remember - it really makes one feel so ill and weakens you too. Well, I did find a few behavioral devices that help me...and may, in fact, help you too.
I was told to try and sit in the front passenger seat, if possible...and also never to look out the side window. Only to stay focused looking FORWARDS. Furthermore, I was advised to look forward...but also, to focus on the furthest point on the horizon. And it works for me!!
Also, never read or check your phone in the moving vehicle. Other than looking at the furthest point - you can close your eyes.
Furthermore, sip on some water or lemon soda...slowly and keep some candied ginger to bite on. Do not eat too much while on the journey either.
I hope this can be of some use to you. It changed my world.

i'm unable to sit in front seat since this is a wheelchair accessible van. i have to eat my lunch on the way to houston. its that or not to eat at all. i cant close my eyes as i have to be able to be ready to take care of my client. i'll try the lemon soda. i'll try to find some candied ginger. thank you for the suggestion.

i used to have motion sickness. when i was young, i never used to travelling because my school was just near our house and everything is just within the place. that is why its my problem when we have field trip at distant place. i always vomit and i am always ashamed of it.
but now, it's all gone. maybe because everyday we used to travel from home to work now. one thing i have learned is not to drink cold water prior to your trip. motion sickness is cause by the conflict of the eyes and the ear. one says you are moving and the other say you are not. try to sleep or listen to music through earphone. hope it will help you.

Hi angelwithkids, It not something to look forward to...I use
to get sick a lot when I travelled , either my car, plane and

sorry to hear that is not on shevles any more..But the last car
trip I took and started to feel sick,,,I had taken alone with me
some saltines and that actually helped me a lot...but I am a
little wierd like that...
try those ginger root capsules...and I hope they work for you..
I am going to Florida by flight in a couple of weeks...let me
know if that ginger root works when you return please...
Be safe on your trip.....

the ginger root did help for a little while. i highly suggest them. it's the multiple trips is what's making me more sick. you can find them at a health food store or a walgreens store.
