I believe meebo is a very useful tool specially for people who are always on the go. For example your at a computer shop/cafe and there are no Instant Messengers installed, and you do not have rights to install one. You can just go to the meebo website and from there keep track of your friends who are online.

Exactly! And when your school or office does not allow IMs, you can simply go to that site, log in and and chat away. Great idea. The thing I am intrigued about is, how do they earn from it? They are giving away a great service for free.

Yes, I think it is very successful in achieving its objects. For that I will give some examples, you can see the traffic that the site contains and its blog and forum. I am very much happy with a site like this and they are just 1 year old and there are many more features that will come in few more days.

This meebo thing is just for the times whrn you don`t have Y-mess or msn or etc . I am on it atmy class on school , and I like it , but I like it just for 1 hour . There , I can see just the id , not and the nick . So , sometimes seems to be very hard .
