My body's aching, but I'm glad.

Yesterday was the first session of our Advance Kpop Dance class. It was a bit sad 'cause unlike last term, we didn't even reach 20 people. And we were all girls! @.@ Well, not entirely. There's one guy (our gay friend). So yeah. ^^ Our cute Korean teacher started the class by requesting newcomers to show their dance moves ('cause she wasn't the one who screened them on their audition--yep, you have to audition for advance dance class! :)) There were a lot of good new dancers, I'm getting excited. ^.^ Then we proceeded with the warm ups. It was the usual simple-exercise-to-yoga-type warm up, but it was a bit quick compared to our last term's. We were ecstatic though when she taught us two songs. Yep, two songs! (one girly and one boyish dance) :D 'Cause usually it's only one. And only the chorus part too. ^^ (The steps aren't simple so going through it with that speed, you have to really concentrate. ^^) My body's aching today since it's been a while (a few weeks) since I last actively moved my body, but I'm pretty glad. I feel healthier. ;P Though I need to pump my eating habits up a notch if I don't want to end up looking like a skeleton. (I have what they call "fast metabolism.") So myLotters, what do you usually do to exercise and feel healthier? :)

I am a black belter in Taekwondo and Aikido and I praticed the israeli martial arts Krav Maga, but the only exercise I have now is the threadmill at my call center's office. I am skinny but I do love exercises, it makes me feel my life is getting longer. I quit martial arts cos of an injury.Well the Injury is gone but I just got lazy, so I could be rusty at this moment. I want to be remove the dust but maybe if I get to have enough money to be an apartment land lord, I will quit my job and finally have a lifestyle.

Ahaha! An apartment land lord? I'd love to be one, too! ;P My bro's a black belter in Taekwondo, and like you, he stopped. So now, he has a little bit of a belly that I tease him with. I'm lucky enough to not get belly fat. ;) Or maybe, he just munches around more than me.

apartment land lords and land ladies makes money every month doing nothing, they just get paid every end of the month. I can do anything I want and have a stress free life if I own apartments with tenants. I can do lots of activities cos In dotn have to worry about a job, then I will have people pay my bills for me. Imagine if you are a land lady you can acquire all those dance lessons you wanted and dont have to worry were to get the money. If tenants dont pay, just evict them.

Yeah, that's exactly it. Such a good life. I'd be able to record whenever I want, and no tight schedule to disrupt me. :D But of course, the location of the apartments should be where people would most likely want to stay. :)

Not many Koreans live in Bali, so I am envious of you. I would like to learn Korean language or dances from the native... I don't exercise much, maybe that's why I am fat.

Definitely no Korean Cultural Center in Bali, maybe there is one in Jakarta but that's in a different island... Anyway, I am an old woman, so I may not be able to get up after several moves of the dance... Well, I could dream of it though...

Ahaha! XD You can start learning dances through YouTube videos, you know, the mirrored and slow versions. I just enrolled because I love the company of all the people there and our dance seonsaengnim is really nice (and cute on top of that, but hey, I'm a girl ;P). If you have some free time, try it, you'll sweat buckets and get to exercise while doing the thing you love at the same time. ;)) *thumbs up* Don't you have a Korean Cultural Center in Indonesia? Or it's too far from you? I'm sure they offer affordable classes there. I mean, really affordable. :D

I love that kind of pain. I feel that my body is in a good state after I exercise. Just keep it up. It is rejuvenating. People should really experience that kind of pain.

I like dancing - hiphop, belly dance, latin dance...as long as I can follow the steps, I'd enjoy every bit of it, while sweating out some unwanted fats. More than any other exercise, dancing is the easiest for me to maintain. All I need is a good instructional CD, and a quiet room.
